Reuters - Sony unveils range of development tools for PS3
- Sony acquired Britain's SN Systems Ltd. and formed strategic alliances with U.S. based Ageia Technologies Inc., Havok and Epic Games to provide more tools
- PS3 will feature a graphics chip with 300 million transistors, more than the combined processing power of Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2
- development costs of a high-end game for PS3 gen will rise to $15-20 million, from $10 million this gen
- white psp sept 15th, japan, 24,800 yen [$220] with accessories
- 5.07* million PSP units shipped worldwide, expected to ship 12 million in the current business year
- more than 150 games for PSP by March 2006
- plans to increase the monthly manufacturing of umd disks to 5 million [from 3 million] in anticipation of greater demand for movies
