Revo Controller

That would be just brutal. You would have to lean your arms on something just to be able to play. Ugh. If the controller is in two pieces it will be a deal killer for many.

If it had all of the buttons necessary to be possible to play GameCube games (and thus X360/PS3 ports)...

I guess I might be down.

But I'm not, so don't get the idea.

i've never wanted anything else to be fake this much ever.

please let nintendo have been dicking around with us about this.

We need some translations on this if possible

I actually like the idea of a split controller, but I would hope that you could bring the controller together for games that aren't going to need gyro control.

I think soundwave05 had an idea for a designed that used triggers instead of buttons. I liked that as well, but I'm not what that would do to the cost. Plus it would already make a strange design even less inviting (if this is the real deal).

Too bizarre. I don't think we should expect anything this strange.

One of the more interesting fakes. Though, last time I thought something was fake, it ended up being the 360 case.

That doesn't translate like 1/2 the text that would help say if it's fake or not... plus in the "real" one the "bottom placed abxy" is labeled two different ways, but not in the "translation."

ABXy = 4 buttons, there's 6 there.

That's awesome if true. Six buttons (with a dedicated finger for each) + 2 triggers, analog and d-pad for you old-fashioned types, plus two independant gyros (more than makes up for a second analog). Ideally also invertable, to use buttons with thumbs and control with gyros.

I hope something like this is true. After so MANY years of playing games the same way, I want something different, and this just may be the one.

I cannot wait, and I hope NIntendo really delivers a "revolution".

Don't forget there's GC controller ports on the rev....

I'm picturing games being designed for both controller types, a la DS.

Of course I'm not saying this necessarily the real deal. :lol

I still don't understand how I'm suppose to hold this thing.

Well i understand the left handler very well, you have the analog stick on your side and the 3 buttons behind, considering the anatomy of the human hand i say it will probably fit very well with your hand, what i dont understand yet is the right one....

Maybe some games will only use one controller and other games will use both. EG; A racing game will make use of both to use as a steering wheel and a rpg will only need one for long term play (saw a funky 1 handed RPG controller one time, I believe)

Here's an idea! let's imagine the type of game that would be worst off with this controller!

I vote for fighters! especially capcom fighters, doing quarter and half circle motions on a right-thumb located D-pad would not only suck balls, but hitting button combinations at the back of that same controller would be hell.

I imagine MANY genres would be screwed with this kind of control

But the other side also has some buttons.. Sure, it won't be ideal as a 6 button solution, but...

Ahh, just looked at it again. Only 3 buttons per side. Yep, no good.

It crazy enough to be true but the d-pad is not the one Nintendo usually use.

...and I don’t understand how it would work and I don’t want to play game with my feet and toes

...although i think you could use any selection of the 4 at any given time which leads to 12 (i think) different ways to play games and i also guess that the parts could be interchanged for different one during the course of the game offering you to play different parts of the game in a different way.

For example you could hold the one with just button so the fat part is at the bottom and then use the button with you two thumbs then you could click in a directional part and hold it the normal way then you could click in the one more buttons......

*head explodes*

FLASH NEWS revolution has cube jacks for you to use with your hori or arcade stick, also do you really expect Nintendo to take into consideration a dead genre like street fighter in constructing their new game pad???i mean i love 3rd strike and all, but all i see in this forum is pple trolling these types of games. they are only for a very nich market.
