Revolution info leak?

So how long do we have to wait (what time EST) can we say the shareholders' meeting came and went with no significant announcement, if we end up not hearing anything?

3am? Or some such? Anyone with a real clue?

It's just that my frothing demand for the truth increases, is all.

should shade the screens blue and call it the Nintendo BluScreen~~

If the conference was scheduled to end at 3, people would be out of it now for about an hour or so.

God damnit, I went to bed last night SURE that if anything was going to happen, I'd know as soon as I woke up, yet here we are, still none the wiser. I have an exam in a couple of hours :(

Shareholder meeting = nothing important, right?

Usually, though people were pointing to the surprise DS announcement last January/Febuary (can't remember when exactly?) as precedent for this kind of thing. Nintendo did also let one Rev detail slip at one of their last shareholder meetings (the DVI/VGA output).

Don't have 100% absolute confirmation of a shareholders' meeting, but given the length of this thread, and the many other threads out there on other boards, you would think someone would have mentioned that fact if there wasn't actually any conference. Nintendo did announce their Q3 earnings yesterday, so a shareholders' meeting today seems likely (?)

Someone posted this link earlier. Might be about the shareholders meeting.

Not sure what it says at the link though:

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/news/980127.html

" Nintendo Co. & Kyocera becoming the nucleus, digitalization of the BS4 late start machine in the opportunity in satellite broadcast business entry "

It's an announcement from 1998.

Whoever came up with this rumour really thought it through, if it's fake.

Yeah, I'm thinking we can perhaps begin to call fake on this. Which is a shame, since it's quite a believable rumour and I actually liked the sound of it.

Hats off to the original source..

Woah...someone on the IGN boards found this: A patent for a controller that provides physical sensation. At first I thought it was just for the rumble pack (there are pictures of the N64 controller in the patent) but it's from January of 2004.

The plot thickens! Couple force feedback with the gyroscopes...HMMM! What are you up to, Nintendo?

Said it was filed in February of 2001. Not sure how these things work either, but:

This application is a continuation of application Ser. No. 09/250,160, filed Feb. 16, 1999, now U.S. Pat. No. 6,200,253 which is a continuation of application Ser. No. 08/727,239, filed Oct. 8, 1996, now U.S. Pat. No. 5,897,437. The contents of the prior applications are incorporated by reference herein.

way down in the document it says

"This application is a continuation of application Ser. No. 09/250,160, filed Feb. 16, 1999, now U.S. Pat. No. 6,200,253 which is a continuation of application Ser. which i think means it is a continuation of the rumble pack application

I cant see the picture because the site is blocked and where I live, only pornography gets blocked. The whole rubbing idea must have gotten into the designs.

As for this news, I think its all bullshit and I hope so too. Nintendo 21 is the most pathetic name ever.
