Can we move on already? I am so extremely disgusted with how this campaign has focused on everything except real issues that the country will have to face during the next term. I don't give a fuck if Bush, Kerry or both were sitting around in the late 60s and early 70s snorting coke, shooting baby cows and getting blowjobs from prostitutes all at the same time. I want to know what these idiots are going to do if elected. This country is going down the shitter, and the masses don't even know the fucking difference.

I gained great political insight from two McDonalds employess yesterday.

McD truck driver: So who are you voting for?

Girl Behind counter: Im not voting I don't like either of them.

TD: Why?

Girl: I don't like Bush because I don't think he had a right to go into Iraq without first capturing Osama blah blah finishing the job

And I don't think John Kerry has much going on upstairs

Girl: Bush has Osama hidden away, and he won't capture him because he is friends with the Iranians, or Saudis or something Seriously! Then he lied about the election and his brother rigged it so that they cheated in florida and Bush would win because they threw out the votes Seriously.

TD: but four different independent sources counted it including the washington post and the NYT and it came out the same in the end.

In between all this the guy was trying to interject his por-bush fanboy talking points. It was funny and sad at the same time.


This is really how I feel about all this vietnam era shit. I for all intents and purposes don't give a shit. I don't need to know GWB was a dipshit 30 years ago to know that I don't like how he presided over the country in the last 4. I don't need to know whether Kerry earned his purple hearts to know that I am on the fence about voting for him, but he would be a nice change of face for the presidencey, to me.

Debating vietnam era service of these two is like getting your political opinions from McDonalds.
