Ridge Racers Beats
Namco tunes in a song list for its PSP racing game -- lots of classics here!
December 03, 2004 - Namco already filled us in on some of the special modes that will make Ridge Racers for PSP a warm "Welcome Back" to a series that has taken a long time off since its last entry (unless you wish to count R:Racing Evolution, which most will not.) This week, the official Ridge Racers Site has a deep feature on all of the tracks to be included in the game.
A total of 30 tunes included, Namco has composed 12 new tracks for the PSP game, with six remixes of old Ridge Racer classic tunes and another 12 tunes that are direct from the old versions of the game. All of these tunes are selectable from the PSP game's menu -- each track is divided up into virtual "discs", and you can choose which set of tracks you want to play before you begin from these pre-made lists (or randomize your choices out of what's on there.) Below is the full track listing from Namco's site, with a rough description of what kind of music these tracks (many of which will be familiar to you in some form or another) will sound like.
