ouch those fps seem low considering they designed all the environments to fit within console constraints

I have no idea what this is. Risen 1 wasn't released in Australia. It looks a bit like Witcher 2, Two Worlds 2 and like the tinest dash of Fable. So, generic high fantasy. But, it's about pirates? That sounds cool.
Fuck it, will buy it and report back with impressions later on.

I went to the website rather than going to the store itself. There's a giant Risen 2 splash page up now on the store homepage. Steam's probably just a bit slow on unlocking the preloads. Hopefully it won't be long.

The performance is fine on my computer, but Jesus, the pop-in is horrible. I'm gonna see if I can't find a config file or something to mess around with the settings. Also, I'm not sure what I think about all types of food being lumped together as 'provisions'.

Early reviews destroyed people's excitements I think.
but gaffers impressions might change the situation if the game is good.
