What the fuck… man that's awful. What a shitty way to go for one of the great directors of our time. This Is Spinal Tap is one of my all time favorite movies.
 
Apparently it was a home invasion. I imagine that this is going to be a big story and a very big investigation. Nice neighborhood, big house, two innocent victims needlessly killed. This will probably be a Dateline or 48 Hours feature story at some point.

It sounds like it's them and if so or either way, RIP to the victims

Way too early to say, still so much we don't know. It hasn't even been officially confirmed as homicide yet. But assuming it is, given knife wounds and an expensive house and neighborhood which means greater chances for security video, I like their chances of either getting something on video or some type of forensic evidence.

Yep, dude turned into a raging lunatic as he got older, just like Mark Hamil did.

Still, he directed some all-time classics in the 80's & 90's. Princess Bride, Stand By Me & A Few Good Men are some of my favorite films of all-time. RIP.
 
He was always a real smart guy and obviously responsible for many classics. He really started to hit the nail on the head in the last 10 year or so, a la Mark Hamill. Many are butthurt by this and it's sad to see. RIP champ.

Thats the least surprising thing about this.

I've only seen some of his work. He was obviously a skilled director. Its a shame that be goes out this way. His legacy will be one of respect and revere.

I actually haven't seen anything other than condolences -- and let me tell you, I follow a pretty deep range of right-wing on X, lol

Anyway, quite a sad affair. I watched All in the Family on Nick at Night back in the 90s, all the time.
 
There have been a rather large number of high profile home invasions and attacks on celebrities in California recently, but unfortunately California is one of the epicenters of the Democrats and wokeness so I doubt anybody in Hollywood is going to figure out why there is suddenly so much violent crime against wealthy and famous people in very posh neighborhoods of Los Angeles

It will not. The media will quickly bury this story and forget about it because it violates the narrative that California is a well-run and safe crime-free state led by Governor Gavin Newsom who is going to run for President in 2028

I don't know what you guys are talking about because I follow mostly rightwing accounts and no one is doing that except Styx666.

And as a result of that I'm probably never clicking on another Styx666 video again.

Other than that virtually every rightwing pundit is expressing condolences.
