I'm in LA and everyone went ape-shit, it was like the 4th of July on the 1st of November. Amazing game.

With the way the dude lost contact with home briefly while catching I think it was way under 0.1s. I guess I don't know how slow their slow mo was but it was tiiiight. At least dive for it if you're worried about not running through it in stride (?)>be Isiah Kiner-Falefa
>only good at running
>brought into Game 7 bottom of the 9th to pinch run on third
>batter makes contact, actually have chance to be World Series winning run
>feet-first slide into home base on a force play (???)
>get out by literally 0.1 seconds
>lose World Series

As a die hard Toronto sports fan, I want to FUCKING PUKE.
This was the most gut wrenching loss in Toronto sports history.
F U CK
Yamamoto is not human. We were the better team all series except for when he was on the mound
I don't know bro maybe you should have played better. Maybe think about your at-bats and fielding. There was probably something for you to personally improve and it's important to do so as there is always next season.I woke up angry as fuck this morning.
seriously what a ridiculous loss. how the fuck did we lose that game?
They were only in it because the Dodgers were in the middle of a ridiculous batting slump the whole series. Outside of game 5 the Blue Jays did all their damage in a single inning, usually to a pitcher that was obviously left in too long or relievers that didn't have time to warm up. Outside of those innings they were just as inconsistent at scoring as the slumping Dodgers. Add in a lot of base-running errors, then you have your answer.I woke up angry as fuck this morning.

You're going to have a tough job convincing me that it was the case here (insert "that's why they play the games" sports cliche here), but even if it were, guy on TV crying about it will never not be funny.Sometimes the better team loses, even in a series
Look at the 1990 World Series![]()
Nahh the Dodgers are the better team and honest I am surprised it went 7You're going to have a tough job convincing me that it was the case here (insert "that's why they play the games" sports cliche here), but even if it were, guy on TV crying about it will never not be funny.

They could point out they scored more runs than the dodgers and that's what should count, not games won. (Yes I'm being sarcastic)Sometimes the better team loses, even in a series

I don't recall what Billy hit but do remember he was on fire that whole post season runYa, not only did they win, they swept them as well. I remember Billy Hatcher going off that series.
Uhhh.. What? No.They were only in it because the Dodgers were in the middle of a ridiculous batting slump the whole series. Honestly, the biggest reason everyone says they played so good was Yesavage being absolutely great.
A perfect metaphor for how the Jays ended their season
Nothing you wrote disproves anything I wrote. The Dodgers were atrocious at batting this series but still won. That's shows they are the better team.Uhhh.. What? No.
Thats simply not true.
Jays were the better team all series, the better team doesnt always win. Ran into bad luck and couldn't close it out in the final inning.
When the Jays won, they won big, destroyed them. When Jays lost, they barely lost. No easy wins for the Dodgers, 2 of their wins came in extra innings (one of them went to 18 innings)
Jays had several easy wins this series. That's why people are saying they played better and lost.
They played good baseball in all 7 games.Nothing you wrote disproves anything I wrote. The Dodgers were atrocious at batting this series but still won. That's shows they are the better team.
Your comment about them winning big when they did win was covered by my comment how they only scored in groups in a single inning to a tired pitcher or cold reliever except for one game. Their scoring droughts were masked by big single innings. Game 5 was the only time they played consistently good baseball.
Let me counter your statements:They played good baseball in all 7 games.
The dodgers had shit batting because the jays had good pitching.
The jays lost because they ran into bad luck and the dodgers made a great catch in the final inning
Wow, he might've made it had he ran full speed instead of sliding when it wasn't needed.>be Isiah Kiner-Falefa

With how close the play was he almost certainly would have been safe had he ran through the plateWow, he might've made it had he ran full speed instead of sliding when it wasn't needed.
I'm not a baseball guy, enjoyed watching this WS though, but is there some sort of controversy or something about a broken bat? Or is it just a metaphor for the Blue Jay's season blowing up in the end?another picture of that broken bat

Not a baseball guy, myself, but watched and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing (WS). I do know that broken bats are super common, so no controversy.I'm not a baseball guy, enjoyed watching this WS though, but is there some sort of controversy or something about a broken bat?
