Twice I waited 4+ hours to connect via chat and never did, so guess I'll try again tomorrow. What exactly did you tell them?
I was on the fence about even buying this. Was going to get the version with just the instrument compatibility thing. All they had was the whole band in a box at target...bought. I'm such a sucker.
It won't go to waste. I bought most of the doc on 360 back in the day.

I gave them the code that's on the back of my Rock Band 2 manual, and I said "it's not working in Rock Band 3!!", and then I asked "Can I get a code to export Rock Band 2 into Rock Band 3 please" and ten minutes later I was gold

I did the "rebuild Library" thing and nothing happened (which I assume is connected to the first question but want to verify).
How do you get your preorder songs from Bestbuy? I didnt get anything.
Are the drums really picky about where you hit? My wife said the blue specificly was extremely picky and you had to hit the central circle.
Whats the best way to expand your library on the cheap?
I exported rockband 1 to Rockband 2 so I assume I will be able to DL those songs right away correct or will they come via the rebuild library feature?
Is there a way to buy Rockband 2 stuff, as in the whole disc, digitally?

I just went and browsed all songs and scrolled through them, stopping on the ones that said "Purchased" instead of $1.99. There were quite a few that I did buy that didn't show as such, but I'm assuming they are still working out the kinks. I ended up with 175 songs and I'm pretty sure I bought close to 300. Full albums I bought only had certain songs available... but it's a start.
gamestop.....then return it within the 7 days because you don't like it lol
Cool so within the game. That's better than having to use download management and scrolling through everything you ever bought.

I had this happen as well, it would disconnect during songs and even when scrolling the music library. I shut down my Xbox ONE, tuned it back on. Resynced the guitar and all has been well for the last 3 hours.
Hah, I don't actually have a gamestop here, but I might have to do something like that if I don't find one soon.
Actually, no, we can't even send back opened hardware. If you open it you have to keep it.

Guitar is by far the best rock band guitar.....no registration issues at all. Very very happy with it.
Drums.....yes, going to have to mess with my setup more....it's fucking annoying to smack a pad and watch it delay despite having it auto calibrated. Even the standard hits were off target. Also I think my red is skipping or missing. I did the firmware update which apparently is instant in the PC and I still have rolls not registering properly. You can even see it before a song starts that it's skipping.

I got 'All The Rage Back Home' to appear in game. Here's what I did, on an XBox ONE.
- Went into music store, was prompted to update 'Jane'.
- Update failed
- A few other songs fail in a similar fashion when re-installing
- Have multiple songs in my DLC library (found my going to Rock Band 4 in the My Games section). Some of the songs in the pre-order pack are not in this library.
- Uninstalled 'All The Rage Back Home', but it still showed in the DLC library.
- Turned off XBox ONE, and unplugged console from power brick.
- Turned machine back on.
- Searched for 'All The Rage Back Home' in Microsoft's store
- Installed
- Song now works.
Also after gold starring and nearly 100% GIMME CHOCOLATE on my second run

Edit: also freestyle solos are the shit.....sometimes though the patterns switch too fast and the game doesn't register a sustain when it asks for it.

So I went and downloaded Zero from Smashing Pumpkins. I went back to career mode, and once the first track starts, I see that literally all the characters are bald.

Is anyone else having issues on Xbox one with the guitar going completely unresponsive? It still is connected because if I take batteries out it tells at me, but no button will work. Not even the xbox gem button to open the dashboard. :/
Also, the bass drum pedal straight up doesn't pick up double bass hits. At all. :l

Fully closed rock band, turned off xbox, unplugged xbox, rebooted, loaded up music store..
No update to fix Jane

If you are on NXE the guitar will only work inside the game....that's it. Any system related operations will not work such as the dashboard button
I did delete it.. and it marked all the missing DLC as ready to install.
So i hit reinstall..
AND THERE HERE COMES JANE.

Um, recache the songs? Delete just RB4 the game disc data? Delete all the songs associated with Jane? I'm just throwing suggestions. I didn't have this issue

It's all about social comfortability. Booze has the very convenient habit of making people more outgoing, and willing to do/say what usually isn't considering socially acceptable. When playing during the day, I typically stick to base/guitar - and will jump around a bit during a fun riff.
At night, with a few PBRs under my belt? I will sing every My Chemical Romance and/or Fall Out Boy song in the catalog, and I will spend half of it on my knees wailing to the gods.
Some people are able to go all-out without the assistance, and I envy them.

Thanks! I couldn't find that in the store, but I just searched rock band 2 export in my gmail and found the code from my release copy, which I had not used apparently. I guess the rock band website generated it and emailed it to me at one point. Just redeemed it lol. Awesome!

I wish we had any idea when the rb1 and 2 songs would be available. I was really hoping day one to hit the ground running, get everything downloaded, and be done with it.
It's nice having access to prior DLC but man is this process a cluster eff. How about one big button that says "download all previously purchased songs. " ?

Turn off your Xbox ONE completely, then restart it and resync the guitar. That fixed my disconnecting issues.
I think there is a firmware update to fix issues with the drum.

yes, the option is in the start menu.
You don't have to even go to options.
You can turn freestyle solo on and off during a song but using left/right on the d-pad.

Been playing this and omg. The new crowd singalongs are incredible. Thank you Harmonix for bringing them back.
Also, anyone else notice that they just boosted the crowd singalongs more on songs that used to have them? I just played Rebel Yell by Billy Idol and my god, it sounded so incredible.

So, i'm sure i missed this, but is there a list of delisted songs we can re-download, if any? I know the Electric Six pack is available on XBO, but you can't do individual songs.

For all the missing in Rock Band 4, singalongs returning is a breath of fresh air.
It was available individual before launch..
But I already owned Gay Bar so i downloaded the other 2 stand alone...
Now I have those and can't download gay bar :|

I'm really confused about some of the downloads, like...it says I can redownload Charlene (whatever is here) from Stephen and the Colberts, but when I click it it says I've already purhcased it and I can't download it (I get a content not found error when clicking it) -- does that mean it's been pulled and I can't redownload it for PS4? Or is it just quirkiness?
There are tons of tracks like this and I don't think they quite match up with what's been delisted.
