Who said anything about buying games at full price. The reason I have a huge backlog is because I find this crazy deals on games I will buy eventually, like how I bought Bioshock 2 three days after release for half the price.

3D Dot Game Hero is an exception because I want to support good games that are priced $40 from the get go (usually means > $36 with a discount).

Don't forget you have to factor in that Atlus is publishing--the first-run will set out before the end of the week and it will be going for $150+ on ebay before the end of the month...and then they won't do a second-print or they'll wait years to re-release it...

I kinda regret holding on to my Day 1 Disgaea :lol

You'd think so. That shows gonna end and there's still gonna be a bunch of questions unanswered. Steam for Mac is out today but only TF2 and Portal are available right now.

The Beatles were essentially the first usage of masters; everyone else was treating it as an absurd luxury they didn't need (or want).

I got my ticket to Boston for PAX East early. My mom also got me a level (yay for house stuff!) and $50. My wife got me Alan Wake for next week, and I got a $200 check from my grandparents. I guess I'm moving up in their world, because they usually only send $100. All in all, a pretty good birthday. Now if I didn't have to go to work today..

BTW, I played Follow The Hipster to find the Brixton Acadamy last night, and it worked a charm :( I've never seen so many guys in checkered shirts with black glasses *was wearing this outfit :( *

It's awesome, plus it's a great idea for them, it gets them more business, plus its CREDIT, which means people will want to shop from them again. I got Galaxy from them for the $20 credit, and same day shipping is cheap as fuck somehow, and I'll get green day, that's already basically getting halo reach or whatever for mad cheap.

Only thing that sucks about Galaxy is we won't get it on release day.

But yeah, Amazon is great...

$25 gift card from Amazon credit card = SSF4 for $11 + $10 credit
Nier = $56 + $10 credit
$20 credit = SMG2 for $30 + $20 credit

It's just an endless cycle of awesome.
