Heh, that song. Wonder if they're going to hold it back until RBN authoring tools get updated for keyboard. They should. Can authors go back and add stuff later or once it goes up, it's final?

Also, what ever happened to those $3 songs (Blonide & Dandy Warhols)?

Seeing the video, they took the difficulty display from Beatles, where it shows each instruments difficulty on the top of the player's selection box. Good. I liked how you could see just how hard the song was before picking difficulty without dropping back a screen, or when choosing bass or guitar. Man, this game cannot come soon enough.
 
I can honestly say that this "Blue" song doesn't ring a bell. I've probably heard it before, but I obviously wasn't over-exposed to it. From the title, I was thinking it was a different song that goes like "Deee ba da ba da baa" or something.

I just pulled up the Eiffel 65 song up on youtube and it definitely wasn't the song I was thinking of. The one I'm thinking of has that part much higher in the mix and it's not the same vocalizations.

Actually, I was thinking of Scatman.

The other Bang Camaro songs were authored by RGS. This one is done by NoisyPuppet (iirc). That's more than likely why there's a disparity in the pricing.

Because it's an HMX title.. and you can dance in it!

Really, hardly any of us will care about it. My friend is letting me borrow Just Dance this week, and if that holds my interest for more than a day, then I'll probably grab Dance Central if I get a Kinect (ugh!).
 
I have to say that I'm glad that they're going to be mapping the actual dance moves from the videos for the game. That would have been a tremendously wasted opportunity otherwise.

Ugh, they should just stop with Natal, it's the most uninteresting thing I've seen last year.
 
word on the street (gaming sites/blogs) is that Kinect is going to be $150.

Rock Band Pro Guitar ($150) > Kinect ($150)

one of the only things that interests me with Kinect is being able to walk up to your tv and have it recognize your face and sign you in to xbox live.

this is a stupid idea but... what if!!??!

you and 6 other band members were playing Rock Band 3 and you all walk up in front of the tv and it instantly signs them in to their profiles and creates in game characters that look just like them and are wearing the same clothes.

Like I said... a stupid idea... but it would be cool anyway.

It sounds like a cool idea, but it also sounds like a lot of extra coding for much more exact body scanning.
 
My wife is all over Kinect, so it will be in my home because of her. Hopefully they can do some cool things with it and not just The typical shovelware.

I've read a few overviews of the Kinect games and it seems like Dance Central is a favorite so far... which isn't really saying much considering all the wii-sports type games on kinect.

I was thinking the other day and realized that Pearl Jam have a keyboardist now, and have toured with one in the past. Maybe the on/off game will feature this as well?

I blame Kinect for the RB3 no-show; it is sooooooooo much worse than I could have imagined.

I'm sure that Dave is jizzing over Dance Central having stars, though.
 
I will definitely agree that Dance Central is the highlight of Kinect. It's a shame that everything else announced for it brings the entire thing down.

Kinectimals was...well, there.

honestly - I also think it'd kind of be fun. if for nothing else than the achievements.

but definitely one of those games that is fun for a week and then done.
