It always seemed like that the hardware side of Harmonix and MTV Games was very touch 'n go due to the inexperience that both of them had in the field. Giving it to someone who knows what they're doing and has been doing it for many years is a good thing.

I have over 500 hours on my TE with no problems. And probably over 100 hours on my fight pad with no issues.

Does this agreement mean no more ION Drum Rockers?

Looking forward to seeing what MadCatz can do for a RB3 guitar.

I felt the fret buttons on the P-Bass were to close to the neck, and they were too small.

The last interview I read with John Drake said E3 is when they're gonna do some RB3 announcing.

Cool. I haven't played Rock Band in so long and I want to jump back in but I plan on waiting for RB3 to do it.

-will launch with RBN 2.0 tools, allowing for harmonies and some other extras



also, this week's DLC...such an obvious effort to push people towards RBN...either that or they know that they shouldn't pull any attention away from SSF4, which is fucking awesome, by the way :D

on Madcatz...not sure how to feel about this. Most of their stuff in the past has been crap, but lately they've really shown some quality, specifically in the P-bass, the wireless P-bass, and the SF sticks. They also make one of the best game guitars out there, but it's $300. Still, the mechanics of it are near perfect, so they have experience with it.
I'm also assuming that they'll have access to the knowledge, designs, and experience that has already gone into developing the RB instruments.
Also, maybe we'll get a new body shape...Telecaster, please?

Oh, it's awesome. Tier 6 on guitar and it earns it. Even the bass, which is kinda easy, is really fun. Lot of green-orange jumps.

Drums are that bastard country shuffle I can never get quite right. If you like Sin Wagon's drums you'll like Homeward Bound's, otherwise you'll hate it.


Also, apparently someone voted for me in my college's Student Government elections. Technically, they voted for "guy with the bunny ears hat".
 
RB3 should be awesome. I'm gonna try and not play RB/buy any DLC until then so when it comes out it'll be fresh and I'll have a ton of new DLC/RBN songs to play. Hopefully it's a September release.

I'll be rusty as hell, but all I need is like a week or so of playing to get back to where I was. I've taken long breaks before.

If Opeth gets released I'll buy it on both consoles to show support for the best band currently making music.

I haven't played since January. Until then I hadn't played since August. The levels of suckitude was astonishing. I would need more than a week to get back to my already pitiful abilities.

Isn't that a fairly large decline from the previous game, though? Also is the game going to be called Halo Reach? That will make people think it is an expansion pack. It should really be called Halo 4.
 
Yeah I don't think Reach will do as well as people expect it to. It'll probably do OK though. I don't think many people care about Halo anymore, at least the Halo fanatics I know could care less about it now, save for a couple of dudes I know that only play halo twice a month and don't play anything else besides Madden.

That list must be wrong. Where is Rock Band?
 
Alright I'm wrong :lol I have a lot of friends that play at the casual level and were in love with Halo and they don't really play it any more, thats why I came to this conclusion, obviously the 20 or so people in RL I know that like Halo aren't a good gauge.

EDIT Whoa I just looked at that list again, is that multi only or does that include single player too? I'm surprised to see that many people playing GTA online if thats multi only.
