Why would you want to boost up a number anyway?

I thought achievements were to make you play a game differently.

While I don't really "boost" anymore by playing super-shitty games like I used to, I still try to 100% every game I play outside of ranked online achievements (because I suck).

Also, there's a very Pavlovian effect whenever I hear that "Achievement Unlocked" sound.

If you really think I camp, Canadians are dumber than I thought. Players on PS3 are absolutely awful and if I really cared about my stats I'd just play team deathmatch and camp. I only play SD like a real man.

If you played on PS3 you'd have a 2.00+ easily, kids are just awful on here compared to 360. I don't care though because my little brother (whom I never see) plays on PS3 along with some buddies. Also, the silenced UMP is almost cheating it's so good.

Skate is awesome because it takes skill. You can get a huge sense of accomplishment from just busting out a nice little line of three or four moves. There was none of that in Tony Hawk. You just could do 400 tricks and a 4000 ft grind in one combo with little effort.

skate. was pretty painful to play on the PS3, but I toughed through it. skate2 was alright, but just didn't feel as good as the first, and while the framerate issue had been mostly fixed, there were still a few issues. skate3 looks to have corrected every issue I had with the game engine, but from what I've seen, there is too much focus on co-op/multiplayer online play, which just isn't my bag baby.

Saying there's no skill involved in TH is ridiculous. Just because you're not battling the controls doesn't mean you can't improve or be worse than other people.

The co-op/multiplayer thing isn't really the focus. You've got a team. That team can be made up of real people or AI people. Then you've got challenges where you've all got to do moves and stuff. It might even be better to go with AI if you have shitty friends.
