This pisses me off so I need to vent.

So we had a class project. Group of four, supposed to meet for exactly 5 hours worth (3 in-class, 2 out of class) and put it together. Fine. First class, two guys don't show up. Ok, they lose an hour. Second meeting, everyone's there, hooray. Third meeting, third guy doesn't show up, so he loses the hour.

And then he flips shit about it. Absolutely freaks out. Goes and re-submits the project claiming he did more hours. And this is the part that pisses me off- he's threatened to go to the professor about it.

The professor knows he wasn't there, the professor will know the hours are faked. And he's trying to get me in shit because I didn't give him hours he didn't deserve in the first place.

If we weren't faking hours collectively because we got done early I'd make the first strike at talking to the professor myself.
 
Europe is so badass. They've got an annual music competition called EuroVision where a lot of countries each put forth one band to represent them and have a competition based on viewer polls and such (like American Idol and shit we have here).

Keep of Kalessin are in the final 4. While they're not my favorite band, they're metal. And that's something that will never happen here, because Americans like pussy music.

Also, is Aliens vs. Predator any good? I got it with my GFX card but it got shitty scores at Metacritic so I haven't redeemed it yet.
 
I popped in RB1 and just got the last achievement and am now officially an AN-I-MAL!!! Yay! :) So now I have 1000/1000 on both RB1 and RB2

And FCGS'd Enter Sandman on the expert sight read too!

I am amazed NBC made good decisions today! Not so much for ABC though. Better off Ted will soon rise to replace AD as the new good show to get shitcanned early.

I still think it's pretty funny that despite Heroes getting canned, there's going to be two superhero shows this fall. One of them does have Michael Chiklis in it, so it may not be a total wash.
 
Kinda surprised by flash forwards cancellation, not that I've been watching it's ratings. It seemed like it was doing good enough. Altough it is very spotty in terms of quality. The pacing is god awful too.

Flash Forward being canceled makes sense just because they had Lost's first season expectations for it and it never came anywhere close. Then again, Lost has always been lightning in a bottle, so to have those kind of expectations to begin with is a bit excessive. I will say that I won't miss Joseph Fiennes' stupid face on TV.

V getting renewed is some sort of Satanic miracle. Hoooooooly shit, is that show bad. I'd be saying that even if I wasn't a fan of the original mini-series.

I guess, but it's nowhere near as good as the first one. They dumbed down the "rpg" mechanics way too much and I swear there's even less story segments.

AvP is basically unplayable and awful.

Yay Chuck, but I'm worried about the back-end episode bullshit again. Just give us 13 or 22 episodes, not 4.5.

I agree that Better Off Ted will be the next AD. Although it's no way in the same caliber/style, the writers were insanely on top of their game in the last half of the season.

Everything else that got canceled deserved to.

I just started playing Sam and Max: Penal Zone Ep. 1 on the PS3 (I don't trust my computer) and I absolutely love the writing so far. I've heard good things about the Telltale adventure games, but I didn't expect this.

hell no bro. ME2 takes a dog dookie on ME1. I actually find ME1 to be unplayable and I'm glad they took out alot of the RPG fluff that the first one had.

I have all those except SF4 on 360. That's actually the list I made up in my head of what I wanted to play, haha.

I'm always down for some RB, but my dlc tastes might make it a bit lame. UC2 is fun. SSF4 is fun but I haven't played it since the 2nd day of launch so if you want to do an endless match, I'll probably quit after 5 minutes of getting my ass kicked unless it's all people from this thread.

I'm one of the three people in the world who liked the Mako. I also missed semi-real XP and armor stats.

If we're talking actual gameplay (aka shooting shit in the face), then yeah, ME2 is much better.

I'd be down for SSFIV. I'm no where near good, so if we do Endless I'm sure you'll win a fair share of fights. :lol

really? well the show ended as well as it could have, I guess. Stupid premise there at the end (oh no, evil carnies) but I think it was as good and ending as you can get out of that creative team.
