That would be cool. Haven't looked at what bands are playing this year yet. What days are you going there? I'll have to check with my friends down in Milwaukee to see if any of them are checking it out this year.

I'll be going most likely everyday except for the first saturday. There's generally 1 good band everyday though which is nice
 
Yes, when you look at share year-over-year, it is in decline. But what has happened is that people now have the plastic peripherals in their homes. You could argue the instruments should never have been part of the share in the first place, because in terms of software our business was up 73 per cent year-on-year. I believe that was also the case with Guitar Hero. I think that is where we are in the evolution of music games. Most people have their instruments and they are only looking to buy the software. Music games are still significant in the marketplace – they’re the number two genre behind shooters.

Oh yeah, there are so many bands that play there you're guaranteed to find something you enjoy. It's still weird to me that Wisconsin of all places has the world's largest music festival.

nah, shit is boring as hell. I'll be back on it when RB3 comes out though.

I think the last time I played was online with Duck and Dave. I'm so bad at vocals.
 
What the deuce? "Dharma Baby" from LOST is in RBN testing. And I know I saw an entry for "You All Everybody" but it vanished so I thought it was a debug file.

I just looked on the Creators site and didn't see either song. Am I missing something?

Not only that...but fucking Emperor is in playtest! This is one of the best RB days I have had in a long time. (Those songs better come to PS3.) The mastering is so good for the Emperor songs as well. It has been a great RB day.

Yea, my bad, my bad. DriveSHAFT is nowhere to be found, though. It popped up on that Latest Songs panel but there's no thread or song page for it. And it showed up as the Status 18 bug cleaned up so I figured it was debug.

Regardless, seems Drake's keeping busy with some cool stuff...

all of the characters who are still not in-the-know in the Sideways world unite as a result of "You All Everybody."

I really hope that doesn't happen.

No kidding. I've been trying to listen to it all day, and I just can't get past how shit it is. There are maybe two tracks that I'll get, and I'm still going to wait to see the charts....I've moved to Vulgar Display of Power now and listening to tracks that would have been incredible.

Now, a lot of this is market-speak, but I've also heard quite a few things through various grapevines about what is happening with RB3. Most of it I've taken with a grain of salt, but the language in this blog seems to reinforce the indicators that RB3 is more than RB2 plus 1.

Exactly. We've been waiting for so long and we ended up with this /facepalm.
 
I tried listening to it today and I couldn't even get through a song. Even Flood was just horribly mediocre.

Cowboys From Hell or fucking pass on them.

This will be the 3rd album that I do not buy at least 1 song from.

Truly disappointed with the DLC announcement. I've been waiting for a Pantera release since Rock Band released, even if it was just the return of "Cowboys From Hell", but I didn't expect that they would choose their single worst album.

I suppose I shouldn't complain. I waited for Pantera... and we're getting Pantera...
 
You guys are nuts, the great southern trendkill is fantastic and underrated, its not the most accessable but its still a great album. The title track should be bought by this whole thread, as should sandblasted skin, they seem like they would chart better.

It really seems like they're saving a lot of the epic tier material now. So many weeks of dlc that is "we have artist x in rock band now but why not song y" I hope they are banking a lot of other shit that they've already licensed.

The lost songs on rbn is awesome, man I'm getting so psyched for Sunday. Hopefully all of the fans in this thread can watch it live so we don't have to spoiler tag shit. Well fuck daves in europe so that fantasy is null.
 
I'm trying to catch up on Lost, only four more episodes to go, before Sunday. Two a day and one on Sunday. My friends said they were having a Lost party, so I'll go over there to watch it.
 
I was watching some videos of Green Day Rock Band, and noticed they kept the Beatles style vocal pie that's impossible to see (When playing solo vocals). Who can I complain to / email to make sure Rock Band 3 doesn't have that shit?
