Well at least our old topic title still rings true. Whining about the official thread. :)


...but I like OT titles being long - so long as the game name is at the front. I normally find them by the taglines at the end when scrolling through.
 
Wonder how long it'll be before people forget about this silly formatting the mods have tried to enforce. Remember when official threads weren't allowed to have silly taglines? That lasted about a week.

I almost want a new thread for RB3 now just so we don't have this shitty one :(
 
I feel like a layer of humor and creativity has been lost today. Was it silly and pointless? Yeah. Did it occasionally make me smile? Yeah.

I just got back from a marathon 5-6 hour RB session with Pedro and Shag. Pedro is one kick-ass SOB, and he is a drumming god. 100% on most everything he played. At one point Shag and I just cracked up after he got 100% on Lucretia. He also owned (100%) the intro to Rust in Peace...Polaris....twice!!!, since I fucked up and failed us out of the song the first time. Thanks again for the hospitality, Shag. And I hope to see you again at some point, Pedro. I had an awesome fucking time!

Is that fucking stupid church group going to Europe to protest Dio's funeral? Either way, fuck them. I also love the new thread title.
 
Posting from iPhone again. But this should not stop me to talk about the wonderful time I had with Shag and Space Cadet. Two incredible guys that i'm missing a lot already, moments like this are what makes everything worth it... Meeting this guys has been a fantastic reward for being in this thread. I have to tell you that was the funniest local multiplayer I have ever had, shaggy was a star on vocals, and with me on drums and Cadet on guitar we made a fantastic team! You have to see shag in songs like Stick Stickly or Megasus... That is how rock band is meant to be played! That was awesome! I was really impressed about Space Cadet doing great in Rust in Peace songs with a Strat 1!! Holy shit!! I was very worried before about my English being a barrier to be good friends with them, but both of them were very kind with me and I felt like I was between 2 of my lifetime best friends. I hope i was nice enough for them Life is really great when I can get the honor to meet people like this, and it is another reason why rock band is the best game ever and this is the greatest community of all time.

Another reason to miss Orlando so much... A million thanks to both of you guys, in a perfect world we should rock out each weekend. You are so special. Thanks a lot!

You are not only great rock band players, you are really fantastic human beings. God bless you.
 
Man, reading posts like Pedro's warms my heart. And here I was coming to bitch about the shitty new way of denoting official threads. Who the fuck decided that was a good idea?
 
Thanks for the kind words, Pedro. I agree that in a perfect world we would definitely get to rock out every weekend. I cannot believe how great of a drummer you are (on the stock kit no less); you killed it! I wish that you were staying in Orlando for a few more days so we could get together again. It is so great that I have an Ecuadorian connection, and I also feel that I did meet a great friend. I hope you have a safe trip back. At some point post up the pic so I can have a copy. You can PM it to me if you want.

The Strat is totally the best guitar. :lol
