Keytar, please. Everyone clamoring for a standard keyboard can just hack off the end and lay it across a keyboard stand.

They ain't gonna announce it, since it's been silently cancelled.

However, HMX has said they want to bring Japanese music to RB though. Doubtful it'd be a disc game, though.
I'm guessing they already got licences to a bunch of songs to include in the now cancelled game and they're just waiting for the right time to release them (hopefully this decade).

Possible, but if the game was set to release in Japan I don't know if the licenses will transfer over. Still I hope, and pray from some Pillows, Oreskaband, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Orange Range, Potshot and Muramasa.

Hmm. I doubt HMX would work on a whole game just for one region, then again this could be one of the reasons it was cancelled.

Q? Entertainment is hardly a huge company and because of that focused their efforts on smaller titles. Rez HD was actually outsourced to another Japanese company named Hexa Drive. I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that they got involved to help license music as well as doing the art for the game.

I figured that Q would be doing the art assets, song selection and handle the legal stuff for the region while HMX would supply the engin and charts.

Still, no use talking about since it's dead. And I so dreamed about singing "Sora Mimi Cake."

I'm sure most of you haven't noticed and many won't care. But there's an unofficial RBN preview videos page set up that's getting populated as more authors participate. Hopefully it'll get to be more consistent and coherent in finding songs.

Not that I've seen...unfortunately, no news is bad news, in this case...

I think our Xev funds may go towards flowers for the family.
That's not necessesarily true, id think if he took a dramatic turn for the worse we would have heard. My guess is that there has been little to no change, or he's gradually getting better or worse but probably slowly. I have no clue how long it can take to recover and fight off septiccemia, but if I had to bet its going to take a while either way without some sort of catalyst to push him either way.

Both my father-in-law and my father died of sepsis (one from perforated bowel, the other triggered by pneumonia). In both cases it took 5-6 weeks before a decision was made about discontinuing treatment. But they were much older and had a large amount of underlying health issues.

I really wish we had some news, tho. :(

So, I'm waiting for the Vultures on Rock am Ring and there's HIM playing. Yeah..., you know? Then the singer is like "Just one more song and we'll finally let the professionals play". I'm like wow, respect points +10. Then they play one godawful cover of Idol's Rebel Yell. And I'm like fuck them.

But yeah, what I wanted to post is the Them Crooked Vultures stream. Should start in about 25 minutes :D

I don't want to go too far into this, but I just lost a life-long friend to sepsis, he was in his mid 30's, and one of the things that I took away from the ordeal is that the longer the recovery, the bleaker the outlook.

I really want to hear news about Xev...I want to hear something...anything...because no news generally means little to no change in status....which is bad...

I dont know why, but I am very optimistic about Xev.

And guess what, he will wake up and later that day...he will be "oh! RB3 will be awesome!"...he did not have to wait like us until E3...or better yet, he will be back just a little time before HMX presentation. It will be like being frozen and not living this torture that is waiting for E3.

I see myself rockin out with him in RB3...I refuse to think he will be gone. NO F'n CHANCE!!

I would go into a coma, only to awaken on release day. That would be sweet! Although, I have a feeling Xev is in a dire situation that could not be wished upon anyone. I hope to hell he is okay.

Your RB night sounded awesome, Pedro. I second Shag's opinion that you need to move to Central Florida. We really would win every fucking competition with you.

Any chance someone can resize this for an avatar? I would do it if I knew how (Yes, Shag, I am technologically stupid). Can you remove the white borders as well? Thanks!

Like this? (had to use another image source, this one was a bit small ;D )

Fuck, yes...Thanks DieNgamers, especially since you went and found another image. I appreciate it!

Dave: The first, fourth, sixth, and seventh reasons are actually pluses in my book. :D

Holy fucking shit. TCV was so good, I hope you guys watched it.

That also confirmed we need a live version of Scumbag Blues in RB3. They jammed it for like 10 minutes, it was glorious. Also, bass solo :D

I watched for Bad Religion only and left satisfied.

They are good on their albums but suck live, so you're about half right.

I thought they were good the 3 times I saw them. I haven't seen them since Siren Song.. tour though. They were a great band up until the album after that. It has a lot to do with their new-ish guitarist, the stupid bald guy that makes them sound shitty. Just listen to Saviour and tell me you don't hear a bit of Nickelback.

Yeah, Appeal to Reason is a pretty poor album considering how good Sufferer and Siren Song were. I've watched a few videos of them live from the past few years and it always seems that Tim McIlrath isn't singing as aggressively or loud as on the album (probably fucks up his vocal chords if done for long periods) but it just kills the songs for me.

No fair going for the nostalgia punch.

And to be fair, Harmonix has usually pointed out issues with masters before anyone else has (which is why we never saw Let Me Take You Home Tonight to complete Boston's s/t), so I don't blame him for thinking it was them.
