Celebrated rock guitarist Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke are the hosts of ROCK STAR: INXS, a new reality show executive produced by SURVIVOR's Mark Burnett. The show combines the world of rock music with relationship-style unscripted drama, performance competition and a weekly contestant elimination. The last singer standing will become the lead singer of the internationally renowned band INXS, will embark on a worldwide concert tour with the band and will be part of the group's new album.

The 15 performers will be housed together in a Hollywood Hills home. Each week will feature segments focusing on the performers' relationships and activities, along with a performance competition and weekly results.

In the week following the premiere, ROCK STAR: INXS will be seen regularly on Mondays at 9:30 PM ET/PT, Tuesdays at 10:00 PM ET/PT and Wednesdays at 9:30 PM ET/PT.

Wow I'm realy impressed with the quality of singers, The Guy with the mohawk is s great as well as the guy who did his own version of California Dreaming...It will be close there are four or five outstanding singers...I say the guy who did the Nirvana song the first night goes home, he is the worse, he is not bad, but not in the same class as the others..

I can't blame the band wanting to go on performing, and they might be going about finding a new lead singer the wrong way, and perhaps they should have changed the bands name.. I'm suprised how serious they are taking this and it really is an interresting show.

Yeah, I thought it'd be like American Idol where they were going after undiscovered singers. Ty is the former lead singer of Dakota Moon.

But then again Bob Geldof has more talent, class, and righteousness in his pinkie nail than Hutchence and Yates did put together etc. etc. etc.

I like that red headed chick a lot too, she is really groovy.

If I had to guess right now I'd say JD is going to win. I don't think they will go with a girl because it would be just to too weird hearing INXS old stuff sung by a woman, and I think Ty is to much of a hype, he would fit better with a younger band.

That's my take for the moment.

I'm really going for Marty. His Lithium performance was unbelievable.

I have only watched 20 minutes of one show and I can tell you that the guy with short black hair with tatoos on his arms is the winner.

I just couldn't get into the show. I like the stage and setup .. and the songs they do are pretty good (too many bad female performers though). There just is something missing from it.

I watched tonight's episode. Pretty good. Like they said, Marty's intonation wasn't pitch perfect, but he more than makes up for it with his charisma. Those guys Ty and J.D. were really good too.

What the hell was with that chick though? (Allison?) It's like she got offended when INXS tried giving her some constructive criticism... and the camera crew kept cutting back to her whenever anybody was getting their comments from the band and Navarro.

My Money is still on JD Even when he has a weak showing like tonight it is still better then the most, he has so many great performances, like when he sang without any music,or his version of The Letter. Marty has improved alot though....

We're still doing the last 5 here, but it's awesome. I wouldn't mind buying DVDs if there are going to be any to see some of those performances again. It's shame that they felt they had to do all the living together in a mansion crap, but the actual show has been very entertaining.

I was just watching E!, there's going to be a second season of this show and they said right now they're in talks with trying to get Queen to be the next band they do.
