Actually the first game from Rockstar (publisher) to land on a Nintendo console was Monster Truck Madness 64 for N64.
Portable tax.So $49 for Switch
$39 for every other platform
Edit: Damn, $40 for XBO/PS4 $50 for Switch. I was hoping they'd all be $40 ($32 with gcu).

He probably didnt since 7.8 is sort of right for this game, 89 isnt.Did you miss where I gave you user reviews too
A lot of people called this. Wasn't Vern the first?
So is switch tax a thing now or why is this 10 $ more expensive on the switch?

If this is gonna be the norm im gonna skip like almost all third party
Code is hot garbage thrown together on while on a massive amount of drugs.LA Noire? That's not how you spell Red Dead Redemption.
Switch tax has been a thing since launch. People have a million excuses for it, but the cost of the cartridges is the the only real one.

They're not $10 more expensive this is pure console launch price gouging. They'll do it because they feel they can get away with it.It's because the game carts are so damn expensive.

It mostly launch tax. Once the system has built up it's library and is a few years old it's much more difficult to justify a $10 or whatever price increase even if it is more expensive to use cartridges. It's likely a combination of both. They could eat the extra cost, but they're not willing to.

Yep. Yet in the end, we'll get the blame and suffer the consequences.I love how third parties continue to sabotage themselves.
Can we take a moment and realize that Rockstar is still interested in single player games? I thought GTAO ruined but here they are!
The game is like 7 years old tho.
I think a year from now we are still going to have these issues you can bet on it.It mostly launch tax. Once the system has built up it's library and is a few years old it's much more difficult to justify a $10 or whatever price increase even if it is more expensive to use cartridges.
They wouldn't remaster it if they weren't making another one tho.
Its no Switch exclusive, most of the effort went to the PS4/ONE versionsThis whole thing reeks of T2 needing a game this holiday, but not wanting to expend their resources solely on the Switch with a GTA V port and not wanting to remaster RDR (because it's either held together by duct tape or because it would eat into RDR2's sales).
So we're left with... this.
So from that PR it sounds like the Switch version has no real graphical upgrades.
