So, my other thread on this topic got me to thinking. What am I supposed to be doing as far as rollerblade upkeep is concerned? I've had this pair for about a year, though I admittedly barely used them last year. Hell, in the past 3 weeks, I've probably used them almost as much as I did last summer, and I intend to keep on using them quite a bit from now on. So I'm curious, am I supposed to be maintaining them in a certain way?

Oil the axel/barrings every so often. Also if they feel too resistive, upgrade to abec 5 if you don't already have those. I have abec 7 in mine, very fast :). Rotate and flip the wheels so they wear evenly.

Normally, but not always, you would replace your front or #1 wheel on your left skate with the #3 wheel from your right skate, and the front or #1 wheel on your right skate with the #3 wheel from your left skate. Switch the #2 and #4 wheels in the same way. After you rotate each pair, be careful to position the worn edges to the outside.
