I remember being addicted to Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, has anyone played 3 a lot?

I found this video someone did remaking the old Space Mountain in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. Didn't know you could do a 3D run of the ride.

Can you still pick up people and drown them in 3? In 2 that was the best thing to do to people who didn't like your park.

There's a demo somewhere. It seemed cool, but these types of games seem to get less fun the more complicated you make them.

Good game with solid expansions, biggest problem; You really need a killer system to play it right, and even with said system, when your park get really large the game really bogs down.

The game isnt that bad resource wise at all. Ran good when i had a 9700 with just 512MB of RAM.

How big did you make your park?
It gets very processor intensive once your park starts to fill the map. It was a slideshow on a replication of a disney park somone made.

Bear in mind i wasnt running on the highest setting but yeah pack lots of stuff in close and it gets slower ofcourse. A mid end pc should handle the game fine however.

I think it's pretty good, but it lost the charm that made the first two so addictive. I would love another 2d version. The peeps were so cute.

I'll never forget this one time in the first Rollercoaster Tycoon I was monitoring this one peep that had been in my park for like 29 days strait. He got on a roller coaster and mid way through the ride the coaster broke, (break failure) when entering the station the train failed to stop and slammed into the back of an awaiting train and blew up. I hear beep, beep, beep, and look at the bottom of the screen and see in red, Jimmy T. has died on coaster 3. I just starred at the monitor for like 5 minutes. I had become so attached to the little guy. Rest in peace Jimmy T.
