Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII Announced For PS4, PS3, And PC for Japan

Ayup, time for us to buy that Nobunaga's Ambition localization, so long as Koei doesn't botch it technically. These are their classic franchises, I'd be depressed if they suffered upon reaching us again.

Wonder what the odds are of this getting a Xbone release in EU and US like DW8 did. Been a long time since I've played one of these.

Honestly if you like Japanese games you want to pick yourself up a PS4, we're going get hardly Japanese games coming to Xbox this generation

Wait, PC for Japan? I thought PC gaming wasn't that big in Japan (going by what I've read on GAF)?

If you ask me, I'd say it having a PC version is the signal to get to the Happening Bunker. I'd wager heavily this is going to get localized considering that detail alone.

Unless Tecmo has some plan going on to try and get the PC market moving in Japan.

Wow, Koei sure is working hard these days. Wonder if they'll ever make a new Liberty or Death game.

I don't think it's super likely, but some of their other strategy/sim games have been.

ROTTK and Nobunaga's Ambition are the strategy bread and butter and are still continually updated.

Uncharted Waters is probably second most developed - from what I recall they were developing up through PS1 and actually made a UW MMO. They actually released the MMO in English as a free-to-play - it was decent, definitely a change of pace from the usual MMO.

Aerobiz there was a single PS1 update for, and Gemfire got a single sequel. I haven't heard of any Liberty or Death updates (It might've gotten a single "10 year anniversary" reskin/update on PC in Japan - there were a bunch of their lesser known titles that did, like Bandit Kings - but I don't remember seeing one).

Personally I thought Liberty or Death ran a little on the slow side, but it was a really neat concept and Koei took a cool approach to it (character-focused strategy) that most devs wouldn't have gone for.

woah those two shots with the cities on the official site look pretty good. so, sort of a RTK XI world but built a bit more to scale. hope it's more turned based like IV and VI yet (my two faves).

I need this in my life. Please bring this over to the states on ps4 or steam at the least. Sad face that NA thread has more pages.

Any word on a Vita port? (Genuine question, since the last Nobunaga's ambition was on Vita so not too far fetched an idea)

Also any word on a Western release? (Again, Nobunaga's Ambition was so could happen)
