Sigh. I know some of you Star Wars fans are excited and are holding out for the possibility of EP3 being a great movie. I also know you'll feel like the series as a whole will be redeemed if Ep3 is actually a good movie.
For me, it won't be. I'll see Ep3 the day it's released like everyone else who is or has ever been a fan of the series. I'm just not convinced, nor do I have much faith it's going to be a good movie like the originals. The entire feel is different. It's just not Star Wars for me anymore.
The Phantom Menance was straight up a kids movie. Attack of the Clones was a bit better, but had some horrendous acting/writing. Revenge of the Sith will probably be pretty entertaining - especially if it focuses on Palpatine (the best thing about the prequels) and Vader kicking ass. At this point, the only redeeming factor of the prequels are the action scenes. That wasn't the case for me with the OT. I mean when you watch the OT, do you skip ahead to the action scenes like you do with the prequels?
