Trailed looked solid.

Coming out in the next couple of months is an added bonus on top of it being on GP.

I remember being excited as hell about this some decade and a half ago. Insane that it is actually coming out, I discounted it as vaporware years ago. And it looks great, too.

Yeah I remember voting for it on steam greenlight back when that was a thing. It was dead for years, cool that it got resurrected though.

Another amazing surprise today along with DOW 4!

Can't believe it's actually happening and it's releasing late this year too!

More hyped for this than Chonos since Routine is a slower more immersive type of horror.

It's been a while since we've heard about this one. Glad to see it's finally coming out. Crazy that this was first announced in 2012 at gamescom no less.

Good god, Routine. Always thought about the game every now and then since it was announced over a damn decade ago.
Part of me is just happy that it's actually releasing. This time. For real. I hope.

Looks interesting and I loved SOMA, but I'm also generally not a fan of games where you're helplessly being stalked throughout the game and having to do the whole trial and error hide under a table routine. Give me something to hit it back with.

There are so many games like this on steam and probably 99% of them are not doing anything new.. this however looks intresting.

They had to redo the entire game after switching from ue3 to ue4, the main dev had a major meltdown, this game has been in development for about 15 years now, one of the saddest dev horror stories out there. im glad it will finally come out.

After first being announced in 2012, we've finally played Routine, the upcoming survival horror game developed by Lunar Software.

What do we think, and is Routine scary? Watch this video to find out all that more about our hands-on time with Routine gameplay.

A short game with good graphics and a dark, sci-fi story... that's what I need for a weekend.

I just finished Still Wakes the Deep and loved it. Routine initially seems like the same style of game.
Yeah, I know nothing about it but the visual design is incredible. I'm in. Apparently it's been in development hell for like a decade, but I'll be trying it day 1.

Quote me later this year but I expect this to be a massive underwhelming 2-3 hour turd. There is no way after its development hell it turns out good.

I almost played that but didn't. If I liked SOMA would I like it? I loved that but typically don't like any walking sim type games.

December 4, I can't believe it'll be finally out

I really hope its good, the guy worked on this for an eternity, surely to be something special 🤞

The best thing about Still Wakes the Deep is the performances of the characters, especially the protagonist. It's been a while since I've seen a horror story with that kind of "belief" and atmospheric tension.

It's certainly a story-driven game and very good graphics, but also there's a good variety of playable actions and situations (small puzzles, a lot of platforming, hiding and avoiding the creatures, collectibles, etc.).

Personally, I loved it, and it's a short game that you can finish in a weekend. It's the kind of game I've been enjoying most lately.

Same. I've been looking forward to this since its original reveal over a decade ago. I still remember that original trailer. I don't see a cost anywhere but I can't imagine it's too high?

What if the 1980's became the jumping off point for the future? Like how this year's Fantastic Four movie was a '50's version of the future? Enter ROUTINE, an upcoming first-person sci-fi horror game set on a lunar base. Like all good horror games, silence and loneliness are your worst enemies, and that's true in ROUTINE – except for the part where you discover a foe who thinks the primary threat is, in fact, you. Piece together the events that took place prior to your arrival, and try to survive.

ROUTINE is our IGN First "cover story" game for November, ahead of its December 4 release for PC (Steam and Xbox on PC) and Xbox (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Cloud) – including Xbox Game Pass on day one. This first exclusive video (watch it above) introduces you to the C.A.T. Ultraview Module, a tool you'll need to make frequent use of as you explore the lunar base. It looks like a camcorder and a radar gun had a baby, and...you'll have to check out the video to see what it does.
