When you finish the game, just after the credits, Akari Uchida thanks you for buying the game and promises that he will try continue to make games that are innovative and fun. I don't remember the whole thing, it was pretty damned long.

Hopefully Rumble Roses won't be Uchida's last game. BUY IT!

Akari Uchida = My Hero in Gaming!

He's just honest, unlike Itagaki who's a pompous ass. You don't see Uchida making the queer paternal references drohne pointed out, nor do you hear him trashing Fire Pro or other wrestling games, while pimping his own.

Nobody draws erotica / hentai for legitimate art (The fact that there are some truly skilled erotic artists is just a convenient coincidence for your libido), and Uchida clearly knows you don't make a wrestling game chock full of buxom vixens for a deep fighting engine. It just so happens it's a fun game to play in addition to good looking.

I also really dug the "Thank you for playing" message. That was always one of my favorite parts of game endings, and it's good to see the guy is seemingly willing to do his best for fans.

I was happy to see a commercial for this on TV the other day. That and the ads in Playboy are ingenious marketing on the part of Konami. Techo didn't bother with the print ads in Playboy (In addition to a few other marketing venues I would have taken advantage of if I worked for Techo), thank goodness.

I can't wait to see what Uchida and his team can do on the Playstation 3. Itagaki Will Cry.
