[RUMOR] Marvel vs Capcom Infinite roster leaked

Like I can understand not being able to show up MVC3 (That roster was pretty amazing all things considered for the time). But I wouldn't have expected them falling back this far.

I have a hard time believing a list that doesn't have Deadpool on it with how popular he is and a new movie coming soon. Or does he fall under the same banner as X-Men? In which case it may hold to reason...

Perhaps more importantly none of them have their own blockbuster. MCU is going to have something like 17 consecutive movies where the lead is a super white guy so this rumored roster's lack of diversity isn't too surprising I suppose. Definitely disappointing, DLC ahoy
Hawkeye and Nova don't have their own blockbuster movie. Most of the Marvel characters are from an ensemble cast.

Nemesis over Wesker?
Arthur and Firebrand?
Iron Man and Thor the only tri-dash characters?
Chun-Li and Morrigan starting characters despite small roster?

Lots of comeback of new characters and lots of departures of older established in the franchise.

It saddens me a bit, honestly, but I'm sure the roster will be good in the end.

This game is going to have the same number of playable women characters as ARMS.

Rather disappointing, it is just a rumor so lets see where this goes.
Is X-men characters possible? I don't know the situation there

i'm starting to think this roster is safe because of SFV and obviously the Mutant ban. But more because of SFV, for me its fine as i know gameplay is going to be fire. Let's see what Capcom does with DLC thats the make or break for this game imo, if its anything like SFV then were fucked with updates.

I think it ends up being a really bad look also when "the other" super hero game looks way better, especially to the average consumer I would think.

Batman and superman are a good sell. I'll wait to see all the characters in action, but it's not the most exciting roster.

Apart from Monster Hunter and maybe Jedah the lineup is disappointing. Unsurprisingly MCU heavy, no Kamala, no Asura or Gene and no X-Men. Might be a pass for me until season 1 is half way done. And that's unlike me at all! And depending on loading times, because f me, it's the main reason I don't play SFV now.

I think the roster is lacking too but come on...this one has Spiderman, Ironman, Captain America, ect. The only big names missing in terms of pure star power is Wolverine and Deadpool.

The average consumer will stay away for content and pure gameplay reasons more so than the cast lacking recognizable names.

Man this roster is just awful.

Skipping this at launch for sure. It's roster could maybe be worthwhile eventually, but this is a pitiful offering, especially at launch.

Sad to see such a beloved franchise fallen this far.

Nobody from Ace Attorney and Ms. Marvel is MIA. Basically what I was looking forward to the most lol.

Jedah's cool but damn man.

It hurts because I seriously thought characters like Asura and Daredevil were going to make it for sure, and I also expected a few more newcomers, like a SFV representative. Sigma not being part of the base roster is ridiculous, as is keeping Venom behind a DLC paywall.

Or the average person will play a f2p mobile game instead.

Fair point, I have a few friends who don't play fighting games who prefer injustice/netherrealm games all day over marvel games.

I could very much be wrong. I want mvci to be amazing, Jedah keeps me hype.

And here I was thinking that maybe Capcom was going to fill the roster out with a bunch of fresh new characters.
Kamala Khan, Squirrel Girl, Ryu or Nina from Breath of Fire, Leon, somebody from Powerstone and/or Rival Schools, Luke Cage, Daredevil...

Instead it's...it's so awful. This is like a Capcom Fighting Jam-tier roster. Almost entirely repeats and a bunch of cuts.
What a joke.
