I get it, memes are funny and all.
But Russia actively persecutes gay people, many LGBT individuals are killed there simply for being who they are.
That's not okay and I don't think we should make light of that attitude by making this a joke thread.

I dunno. It's a horrible state of affairs, I agree. But we should celebrate these gay glitches for daring to be so unapologetically gay. Also, they would probably piss Putin off a lot, which is a huge plus

I don't get the term "gay propaganda",it's like saying " Electromagnetism propaganda" or " Germ theory propaganda". Homosexuality is not a point of view it's a biological fact. Don't the kids in Russia have access to the free internet? It won't take long for a kid to learn 'herteronormative family values' is the real propaganda. The law is so fucking dumb.
I get the impression that either they go along with this bullshit later in life, or become so disillusioned that they'd rather leave the country when grown up. With how things seem to be run it really does seem hopeless to effectively change the government.
