Here's hoping this year's Black Friday sales will bring heavier discounts on STALKER 2 to soften the blow, because in the Zone, we don't believe in pricing stalkers out. That's Sidorovich's job.

I'm a huge stalker fan - Play tonnes of stalker gamma still now. I bounced after 20 mins at launch and have been waiting for updates and now its leaving lol. I will just buy on steam but there is plenty of reasons to have waited.

I played it when it first released. Had a great time. Considering buying the Stalker Enhanced Trilogy.

So they fix the game, but not really, and now they remove it. Good shit. What else to expect from that trash game tho it's prolly MS's fault here.

Honestly- if you are remotely competent with PC use. I highly recommend avoiding enhanced and modding the original games.

If you are less fussed about the story and just want the atmosphere and sandbox. Misery and GAMMA in particular are insanely good. GAMMA is a modpack based on the open source engine of Stalker. It's completely free (legal too). It's a super hardcore modpack but its really fucking fun. GAMMA looks like it could be a game released today in all honesty if you know what you are doing with settings etc.

I want native controller support. I dont play keyboard and mouse on PC. Not even for cRPGs.

I really liked it when it came out. Performance mode was crap but the game itself was great. Fantastic mysterious world building with a lot of weird SCP containment shit littered through out.

It's basically like the first few STALKER games but more console friendly re: controls etc.
