S.W.A.T.(pc GAME)

OMFG HOLY MOTHER OF MARY IN HEAVEN I CANT BELIEVE IT WTF WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES AAAAHHH
I just saw the review of this on Xplay and it looks pretty fun. Anyone play S.W.A.T. for the PC? How do you like it? Is it difficult? How does it compare to say, SC: Chaos Theory?

SWAT3 was fantastic. But unless a more powerful computer suddenly lands in my lap, I think I'll have to wait for the inevitable console port on this one. Damn my comp sucks.

Its gotten pretty good write ups all around. Gamespot's review in particular had me sold pretty well. The tactical elements and AI sound solid and varied. I really like the fact that you're not always just shooting to kill as some suspects have to be taken down in non-lethal fashion and hostage casualties are a big no no. So some thinking ahead is in order. But the biggest draw for me is enemies respawn in different locations when you replay a mission, giving some much needed relief to the "trial and error" factor often found in this sub-genre. Adds some replay value to the single player portion as well. Multi-player does seem to be a mixed bag, some really dig the slow pace while others think its rather imbalanced and sluggish. Once I get my A64 rig setup this week Im probably gonna pick it up. Tide me over until BF2 at least.

Thanks for the impressions Huka. Sounds similar to Splinter Cell.

BTW what is BF2?

SWAT4 is a great game, but I'd recommend trying the single player demo to see if you like it. I haven't played Chaos Theory, but from what I've played of the original Splinter Cell.. I don't understand how you can compare them... This isn't a one man stealth title.
