just come out with a picture and reveal yourself like „hey guys, I’m Hasan and as you can see I’m clearly not Kojima. This is not a joke :messenger_beaming:
Or put a damned video up on YT. Supposedly a dev that has a deal with Sony, you can do an introduction video.

This is probably one of the coolest shit i have seen in a long time in gaming, even if it might turn out to be nothing. Other publishers should take note and sometimes do something like this too.

Edit: Reminds of the PS Home days, cant remember the name, but there was a mystery event too, which involved real life locations.

Would also go in line with Geoff's tweet that said "It's not what people think it is."
Yeah that as well.

The Silent Hill hints are so on the nose it's unreal and they are so strange when've you've also got the categoric denials by Blue Box as well. But yeah like I said it's still defo Kojima related and a big AAA game, if it's either MGS remake or Silent Hill I'll be happy either way even if I'd slightly prefer Silent Hill

Yep.

I loved Death Stranding as a game, but in terms of a raw game it's obviously not a 10/10. But the hyping and teasing by Kojima and the theories etc.. that I followed for years and months elevated the experience to top tier heights.

Guys this is a Half-Life 3 reveal...

On a serious note, even if it was Kojima, im so bored of these cryptic announcements. It was cool when i was 12. When i remember the cringe with MGS5 and Moby Dick studios and developer with a bandaged head giving interviews...yeah ok, give me the fucking game and shut up already.
Go sit in the corner. This is way more fun of an announcement and it's more talked about than E3 now.

I like how people are searching and looking at all this cryptic shit and connecting numbers with letters and linking accounts as if this is some master plan that needs to be uncovered.

Blue Box literally tweeted the game is S___L lmao. Why would they just put it all out there in that single tweet

Yeah the game already had attention.. if this is a Kojima ruse, throwing the S-L thing out there is way too on the nose.

What does SHLSS mean?

I assume Silent Hill, obviously, but LSS? It's also the first time they used that hashtag.
No clue.

This thread is one of the greatest investigative pieces ever written.
What's funny is that this Thread right here on GAF is the go-to place for this madness.
On "the other side" they have insiders, the known weasel and Geoff himself, yet they missed out on a lot of stuff and have old things just surfacing.

The whole batshit crazy Twitter "morse code leaker" was not even featured at all.

One thing I’d add anecdotally:

I was there for the premier of PT on the PlayStation store, and played it that evening alongside everybody else trying to finish it.

That shit was easily as obtuse and weird as some of the stuff being uncovered now. It all feels the same.

Either this is all a huge coincidence, Blue Box Games are master trolls… or somebody who knows how to get people’s minds racing is at it again.

If this is Kojima Silent Hill, then welcome to what will become the most talked about video games announcement in history.

My theories about that as I stated before are:

1) Hype had died down since the initial reveal. It honestly hasn't had that much attention outside the 1st one or two days of it's reveal. People shut down the SH/Kojima theories pretty quickly and pretty emphatically. They needed something really on the nose to reignite it and make this blow up

or

2) It's not Silent Hill but actually MGS as someone else suggested and the SH stuff are intentional red herrings.

Whatever it is its a masterstroke move on Sony's behalf to cheaply grab a load of attention and mindshare in the wake of the Xbox' E3 event.

In many ways its emblematic of the two platform strategies. Sony is all about single event releases and announcements, whereas MS are going with a volume and value sort of approach to drive interest.

His name is an anagram for the Hasan Kahraman name.

This keeps sticking out to me for some reason. What if saving the spirits from silent hell are multiple IPs? Saving multiple IPs?

The 27th letter in old English was the & (ampersand) or pronounced 'et'.

Hmmm, :pie_thinking:
19 + 8 = 27

19th letter = S
8th = H

Blue Box has been most active and released their games primarily on steam, advertised their previous games on Xbox, and follow Xbox on Twitter.

Hank A is the same guy as Hank Arman, and if we assume the game boss channel was legit (and there is high chances for that), then Hank A is legit. And Hank A is Hasan Kahraman.
If Hank Arman is legit, that would make the initial image stenography that was previously debunked as legit.
