SAMSON release date trailer

BennyBlanco

aka IMurRIVAL69

This looks kinda good? And $25.

The gameplay typically felt great as I tested out the various mission types on offer. My favorite missions involved heavy hand-to-hand combat; Samson squares up against various enemies with light and heavy attacks at his disposal, as well as the ability to parry and smash enemies with environmental objects. Though this is very much a brawler, you can't just swing for the fences. Instead, I approached each encounter with caution and intentionality. Light punches, heavy punches, parries, and grabs often sufficed in my early-game encounters, but using the Adrenaline Rush meter, I could wail on rivals with slowed-down time and increased damage. I got myself out of more than a couple of sticky situations thanks to effective managing of Samson's Adrenaline meter.

Is this the game that came from that tech demo a long time ago? Want to say it was from a South Asian country. Similar combat, looked very promising

Looks very good but I'd need to play a demo or hear how it feels to play, so many of these games look nice but have weightless characters, movements, physics etc and it is always rotten to play. So far though, I am intrigued.

Below BennyBlanco BennyBlanco states it is from the creator of Just Cause's new set up, so I am actually way more hopeful now.

Some of the ex-Avalanche (Just Cause) and DICE guys game.
Yup this has been on my radar since the team formed
Im kinda sad they arent getting heavy marketing push, this is exactly the kind of palette clenser game that will be a hidden gem people might skip simply for not knowing it exists.
After the excellent Mad Max I have faith in this team and hope this game does numbers for the studio.

Its also one of the first games to heavily rely on Epics new physics engine "Chaos" so lets hope its performant cuz I never had issue with Havok but if Epic really think they can do better........lets see.

I'm different in that my bigger concern is people copying Rockstar and making ridiculously weighty animations that take away from the gameplay in favour of slow style it is GTA and RDR2 are going for.

I was meaning more in the sense of the asset flip type of games where the world and character don't feel connected in anyway. Like the character is just moving in front of a green screen or something.

Rockstars heaviness is the opposite end but still has issues. I hate trying to turn my character, have them naturally walk up an inch high step, running and changing direction etc just feels like you have little to no control at times.

I only know one sampson
