I know the Dell monitors are better but I don't have time to wait for it to be mailed... and I haven't seen those dell monitors at Best Buy or Circuit City. So is this monitor a good buy or should I go for something else?

I bought that monitor's 22" relative, the 226BW, and it's ****-awesome. But I paid $319.

$499 is probably great for a 24" monitor of that quality, so if you're flush with cash, enjoy.

The reason I want to go 24 inch is because the Xbox 360 resolutes at 1920 x 1200 but it doesn't resolute at 1600 x 1050...

Supposely people have had problems getting a 1080p resolution with this monitor and the Xbox 360... is this true?

Get the 245T. In the UK it is £90 more. But you get HDMI, Component, SVideo connections plus the TFT panel is supposed to be better.

Well I ended up getting the 24 inch Samsung... and holy shit.. is it awesome. The Xbox 360 looks absolutely outstanding running in 1900 x 1200

Unless it's got an update to enable it in the last 3 months, the 360 won't output 1920x1200. I've been away from my dell 2407 (although I'll be back tommorow for the first time since may), so I'll be able to confirm it tommorow.
