Just got a sneak peek of "Saw" on DVD and I must say that this movie is fantastic! I was a little skeptical at first considering rotten tomatoes had it at a sub-par rating, but fuck the critics on this one. I wish I would have seen it in theaters. If I would compare it to any other movie, Seven comes to mind.

Watched SAW in the theater, was laughing my ass off, and so was the rest of the audience. It was an interesting concept, with poor execution, especially the acting.

how dare you!

the first half of the movie was awesome. then that fucking LOSER carey ewels (or however you spell his name) puts on by far the worst job of acting i have ever seen this side of sofia coppola in godfather 3. what a fucking JOKE. he literally ruined the entire movie for me. the other guy (adam?) in the room was pretty bad too, but carey takes it to comedic levels. the audience (myself included) was laughing its ass off when he says "gggrr i... need to ... save my family!!!" i would have loved that ashley simpson jig music (hickish) to be looping in the background after he said that. why even make this a horror movie when you're going to include laughable acting like that? is there a way to digitally remove carey but still keep the story coherent?

I don't get how people are such critics of movies. I really find that like 90% of movies are pretty fun and enjoyable. I can probably count the number of movies that "were destroyed by someone's horrible acting" on one hand.

Saw was pretty good.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated

I'm inclined to agree. It's a cool concept, but in the end it just wound up stealing better ideas from better movies, and kind of shoehorning them into the plot.

Basically, if you've seen "Seven," you've see "Saw."

The ending is sweet, and danny glover gone crazy is hillarious. I dunno who said this was a horror genre pick though it should just be in the fucked up category.

As someone who loves these type of movies, I have to say it was pretty crappy. Camparing it to Seven is blasphemy. It's like MTV tried making a serial killer movie.

I feel for this before with Cabin Fever here. Thankfully I am much smarter this time and can avoid therapy needed to recover from watching such madness.

plot was decent, very end was good... the acting though.. my god the acting. Makes Tidus' laugh scene look oscar worthy.
