The pic look like it's pretty zoomed in and it could actually be rather small. The uncomfortable chairs in the background coul be far away or close...

I'd say it's about the size of a tower case...

people are probably looking at the exposed green bits and subconciously assuming that they're 5.25 inches, which would make the box very big indeed... on the otherhand, if they're 3.5", it would be as big as most standard tower cases, just really bland looking.

But seriously, this is classic GAF/internet syndrome, just trying to have fun and blowing up an issue that shouldn't exist...

by not looking at the facts; i.e. previous alpha development kits were also of a similarly large size, and similarly raw and ugly and large looking.
