I guess Trokia did a prototype for Fallout/Post Apocoliptic game in trying to get the IP from Interplay. Two screens got leaked. Pretty neat looking. Shadows are wicked.

I guess the project has been put on hold since Bethseda got the Fallout rights.

Hopefully Troika can convince Bethesda to develop the title for them. It would be silly for Bethesda to not consider this option considering the talent there (some ex-fallout crew).

Because they will utterly screw it up. They make "OK" RPG's like Morrowind, but nothing that even approaches the quality of the Fallout games.

I find it hard to accept basically anyone else developing FALLOUt. And Bethesda is NOT great.

The thing that BlackIsle had going for them was that wacky sense of black humour on top of everything else. If the xbox/ps2 title is anything to go by, they don't get it. Even Fallout tactics didn't get it.

I doubt anyone @ bethesda can do the series justice. Its now just about post apocalyptia, its about the humour and grimness and the coolness and weirdness (and odd hitchhiker references)
