yeah yeah, late to the party or whatever... in case some people haven't played it yet and are planning on playing it I'll use spoiler tags

So I'm beating the shit out of Yunalesca's 3rd (final?) form and she pulls mega-death shit on me, so I'm thukning no biggie, it'll miss someone and that I'll just bring in Yuna and cast life. but no! these fuckers that made the game were more than willing to let mega-death kill my whoe party!
FUCK YOU FFX, probably not going to even finish the game now. take your POS cheap ass game and shove it!

You're angry at the game because you suck at it?

Spoilers:
You see, the key to winning that battle is not to constantly de-zombify your people. When your people are zombies Megadeath does not affect them, I believe. So keep one or two characters at zombie at all times.
 
yeah yeah I know, I was ready to put the beat down on her though, so I had my party all healthy, she had 10k hp left!
 
Man I leveled up so much in this game (thankfully the combat system was decent fun imo), I don't think any boss was a real challenge; I don't specifically remember using anything other than very basic strategy. Of course, that was years ago...

This was me pretty much...I got this game very late as a GH title(last Nov.)...and didn't use any strategy guides or FAQs(a first for me with an RPG). I played up to just a few hours before the end and took a LONG break and just got back into it 2 weeks ago(and beat it last week). I looked up a FAQ just for the last few bosses because I didn't want to get my ass handed to me, but it was actually pretty easy. In fact
I didn't even use my Aeons much throughout the game, or bother raising their attributes...so when it came time to fight my own aeons, i tore through them like a pack of Imps
.
 
Got upto Yunalesca, my highest level is 31. Contemplating on giving her a try but I seriously cannot be stuffed.
 
I got up to Seymour at the snow ledge or whatever and never touched it again...I was lovin the story,but Im not gonna waste hours of my life leveling up in some lame ass turn based fight -_-

If you think that's bad, you may throw your PS2 out the window once you inch even closer to the end.
 
Weaksauce. I got the import when it first came out and finished it, and I didn't even know much Japanese (those kanji for magic, poison, etc. were a pain to look up).
 
I've had this game since launch and I still haven't finished it. Not that I play it everyday or anything.

I know what you mean....especially about your highest level character being level 31....in FFX...yeah...your characters had levels

edit: and thread starter is hating FFX for the wrong reasons (i thought the game was good, personally) you un-zombied your party and got killed because of it...your fuckup = SCREW YOU FFX

Hey what did you expect? To be easy? It's the final boss you know. You are supposed to lose on bosses you know sometimes. And like Gattsu saif you hate the game for the wrong reasons. Good game great story but linear as hell for an RPG. Not that I've played any good RPG this gen. :(
 
the bitch is no more, but I'm still pissed about it especially since most of the dialouge can be skipped, I could have bough x-mas presents for christ sake!
