Ok so the wife an I buy our house and decide to set up digital phone service. It turned out to be cheaper than broad band and a separate phone line.

So we move in and the first thunderstorm comes though.... knocks out the phone service. ERGH

Service tech gets there... phone jack on cable modem.. SHOT.

Less than a month later (tonight to be exact) another thunderstorm rolls through. We go out to dinner and come back and guess what doesn't work?

GOD DAMNED PHONE!!!! ARGH...

So we try to call customer service...WRONG.

No one answers on their 24 hr line... SON OF A BITCH.

I'm just about fed up with this digital phone crap. Is it going to be that everytime we get a smattering of ligthning in the area our phone service is going to take a shit?

Ok..had to vent.

Pretty much, if they did their job right this wouldnt be an issue. So damned aggrivating.
