is this on a per enemy or per level basis? what will happen if you try to use the same trick?BorkBork said:You also can't use the same solutions twice

Mike M said:Indeed.
BorkBork said:Think it's per level. It's in the dev walkthrough video in my first post now. But I forgot how long it carries over if you replay the level multiple times. I think the question was asked in this thread, but I'm not sure if it was answered.
Jackson said:In my interview I go over this, but again --
You cannot use the same words again if you replay a puzzle you've beaten. But in other levels you can, if you play through a level 3 times, you've unlocked it and can write anything again (this number may change)
You can write multiple words if the word creates 1 object, for example - "baseball bat", but not sentences.
No. Buy a DS and support this game.MercuryLS said:iPhone version plz. It could handle it and at $10-15 it could be huge.

BorkBork said:Jackson can correct me if I'm wrong, but I wouldn't think it would be a profitable business model for a team that's dedicated to DS game development.
Battlezone said:I have no idea of iPhone development costs, how easy it would be to port to the iPhone, or any of that, so take this with a grain of salt, but how exactly would they NOT make money with this game on more than one platform? Especially a game that's so perfectly fit for a quick pick up and play experience on a phone?
I mean, I'm intrigued by this game and all, but I'm not going to buy a DS *just* for this one game. I currently have a PSP sitting in the corner gathering dust that only gets picked up when I go on business trips. But I *always* have my phone with me. I just can't justify spending $200 or whatever on this one game, as great as it may be.
At the end of the day, though, I see so much promise in this game, and it really NEEDS to be played by as many people as possible. It really deserves it.

no handwriting recognition? Really? Typing everything out on a tiny keyboard could get tiresome.

Yeah, that was all linked a few pages back. I'm still not sure if it should be in the game, since it's either part of the Sims or a misspelled word (plumb bob or plumbbob or plumb-bob).xfactor said:Plumbob - No dice!
It is a misspelled word, yes. It better be in the game! Let's just hope they recognize the dude spelled it wrong.Blizzard said:Yeah, that was all linked a few pages back. Internet - spawn a computer
Tattoo - spawn a sheet of temporarily tattoo
Air - tiny puff of air that, when dragged and dropped, is absorbed into the surrounding air
Molecule - tiny model of a molecule
Scribblenauts - causes the original character model for Maxwell to appear.
Narwhal - cause a horn-touting whale to appear
Lutefisk - a bright white fish appeared and began to flop around the level
Plumbob - No dice! The game's lead designer was hanging over our shoulder as we entered in this unrecognized word. He quickly asked what it was, pulled out his phone and feverishly sent some unknown party a text message. "Okay," he said. "It'll be in the final product."
stanchion - spawn a weight-bearing post

I have some basic experience in programming, and it seems to me that it honestly wouldn't be that hard. Each object might have a list of objects they're "afraid of" or "can use" and then has boolean flags for things like "edible", "sentient", or "usable". I bet the most time consuming part of the process in creating an object is just having the artists drawing them. If making an object takes more than 10-15 minutes I'd be surprised.
