I'm surprised this wasn't posted yet.

I haven't played more than 5 minutes of this series, so I haven't a clue if it's actually any good, but the GBA version I tried out felt so cheap to me, just blech overall. This however looks MUCH more polished, I'm interested.

I think they're buried in the Legendia thread somewhere, along with Tekken 5 and some other shots.

Lots of Drakengard 2 and Killer 7 screens this week too, but I can't get to a scanner right now.

Ah, well that explains it, thanks. However, I'd still like to know what the jury (duckroll :P) has to say about SD G Generation, this game looks nice so far.

EDIT: The scans in that thread don't even seem to be working anymore. :/

It's quite a fun series. A bit like super robo wars, but restricted to Gundam only. Still, good variety, and able to understand the power comparisons between all the different gundams is fun.

Ah, I should have given it more of a chance then, though I still wish they had went with more of that classic 2D anime style for battles, but I guess they don't want it to look too much like a total SRW clone. This one looks sharp though, so I wonder how it'll be in motion, definitely much better than the GBA version I'd assume.

Does the Famitsu article mention when the DS one is slated for release?

"This Spring". Although..... I seem to recall some other game that's slated for this "Spring" too! :lol

I'm surprised the series isn't discussed more here.

It sorta looks like the battle field is set on an invisible hexgrid; makes me wonder if they'll try to have a combat style similar to Giren's.

The only problem is see is a relatively sparse roster. Otherwise it looks rather nice.
