Seattle-GAF!

Mighty O >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bottom Pot.

My roommate brought a box of Mighty O home today and it was so hard to resist. Fucking diet.

great weekend for Seattle football. ...sounders are a football team right?

I like Top Pot's maple donuts, but yeah Mighty O is great.

I like to hit up the neighborhood QFC at about 7pm when they've packaged all of the day's remaining donuts for clearance. $5 for a dozen assorted? Yes, please!

^ I've done that a couple of times, which is a horrible idea for just two people... hah. My job has a scatch-my-back deal going with the Top Pot down the street, where we give them lunch on the house occasionally and usually once a week they drop off dozens of donuts at the end of the day for the staff. My self control gets a serious testing on those days.

Man, getting around buy car really does suck. People here are very friendly though. I don't mind the freeway is the streets that drive me insane. Parking is so stressful.

Found a place get the keys on Wednesday. Luckily it's close to work so I won't have to drive.

Awesome, congrats.

Same situation. I store them in plastic containers, and we eat them over the course of a few days. Terrible for the waistline, but oh-so-nummy. I like to immaturely call doughnuts "dognuts." =D

Speaking of which, the holiday treats are in full force at the office today. Because my desk gets a lot of foot traffic, it's a natural repository for goodies. Right now we have a smorgasbord of potato chips, saltwater taffy, Oberto pepperoni sticks, cookies, and doughnuts. Heaven help us.

Anyone know something fun and cheap to do for NYE? Trying to find cool stuff that isn't the same thing I did last year (get drunk, watch the space needle fireworks from a parking lot, and head to the Five Point).

Was going to suggest more or less what you just said.

It's been snowing pretty much nonstop for the last few hours in Capitol Hill but none of it is sticking. Still, very pretty.

Okay, so I have had to use cooling my whole life and never a heater. Now that I am in Seattle a heater is a necessity. I live in a studio with no vents besides the window. I feel like the window open let's heat out but, then the windows fog up in left closed.

Any tips for a former desert rat?

I buy these window-winterizing kits that are basically giant sheets of seran wrap and some double sided tape. They're for insulating in the winter, but also keep the condensation from forming. Just be sure to dry the shit out of your window before applying, as it would just trap all the moisture in.

I've been to the Georgetown one and it was pretty good

I work down the street from it, and eat there a lot for lunch. Closed down briefly somewhat recently and my heart broke, but it opened back up. It's great every time.

I need my Japanese mayo.
