So whar exactly is wrong about Kimonos? Those stupid shitheads should leave this planet for good.

I know a lot of girls who wear Kimono ust because they respect and love japanese culture. There is even a japanese festival in my city where the japanese people offer you a Kimono to wear and try it out.

Just another sign that "being woke" is just a mental illness that gets out of control

The funniest part is I actually get what he was trying to pronounce: DIE JOB DEATH CAR = Daijoubu desuka (are you okay?) but the meaning (in what he's trying to convey) is "Hey, hey, you done already?"

I don't know if any of you have ever been to Japan or China, I spent a decent amount of time in both places a few years back when I was in the military. But they absolutely LOVE seeing people embrace their culture. Like tons of Japanese soldiers and Chinese sailors encouraged me to try their local customs and foods and practically forced me to take home all kinds of Japanese clothing and Chinese papercraft. It was awesome.

I'd wager all these people being offended for cultures they really know nothing about would be shocked to learn that NO ONE GIVES A FUCK.

My mom is Japanese and she would most definitely not be offended by others wearing the kimono even in their own style. It's just clothes and it's appreciating another culture, it's not like they are wearing it to offend.

Yet, people on social media are going out of their way to get offended on behalf of the people that they think should feel offended. And when they (the large majority) aren't offended, they call them out as if they should be.

At this rate we shouldn't be eating ethnic cuisines. How bland would that be?

It happened with The Simpsons over Apu, and now from what I believe, he is no longer a character on the show! All because 1 fucking guy had his feelings hurt over a positive portrayal of an Indian character, who is respected and loved in the cartoon! Fuck me I have no idea what world we are living in at this point in time. Does this mean that, as a person with Italian heritage, I should take great offense to ALL who make pizzas? Pasta? ANY Italian food? Wears Italian clothes? Where does it fucking end?
