Spider-Man VS Kingpin: Holy damn hell, man, this had an awesome soundtrack, the first attempt at recreating a map of NYC and and freaking rampaging gorilla. I loved it for the cutscenes. Better than the genesis port sans the picture-taking.
I believe that the same team that ported Spider-Man Vs the Kingpin also handled the port of Batman Returns to Sega CD. Both games should demand a purchase off their soundtracks alone (doesn't hurt that Spider-man is fun and the driving games in Batman were awesome for the time).
Games I remember spending a great deal of time with...
Spider-man Vs the Kingpin
Batman Returns
Mortal Kombat
Star Wars Chess
Plok
Mickey Mania
Chuck Rock
Jurrasic Park
Silpheed
Earthworm Jim
Tomcat Alley
Keio Flying Squadren (?)
Space Ace
Ecco the Dolphin (and Tides of Time)
Sega Arcade Classics 5 (Golden Axe, Columns, Return of Shinobi especially)
Sonic CD
Fatal Fury Special
Power Monger
Bouncers
Hell you can probably find all of those on ebay in packs for like 40$ max...
Now if you want the good shit (Popful Mail, Vay, the Lunars, Snatcher, Dark Wizard, Shining Force) be prepared to pay 30-50 per game.
Also if you like hokey acting and Shenmue style QTE stuff grab up Wirehead, Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, Fahrenheit, and Kamen Rider Zo.
Or just hokey acting get Corpse Killer, Double Switch, Shelock Holmes 1-2, Sewer Shark (I never made it passed rat breath), Night Trap, and Prize Fighter...
Oh and the Make your own vide games are so bad they're good. =P (Inxs, Marky Mark, Kris kros, C&C Music Factory)
