Selling XBOX360 Product Early?

I'm not sure if anyone could clarify this information. Shipping today is Kameo and some of the other accessories such as controllers and battery packs. I work at Gamecrazy and we have recieved no word yet on anything but I have credit available at Gamestop and EBgames and was wondering if Microsoft was going to enforce the street date on all of their products for the 11/22 or like I remember with the original XBOX and Gamecube you will see them pop out at retail and rental stores again?

I was at EB over the weekend, and they told me they couldn't sell anything before the 22nd.

Needless to say, I'm angry. I'm getting my system on the 19th for this big "party" crap, and how the hell can you have a party with one controller and Madden?

Buy one of the wired Windows/360 controllers so at least you can have two player?

Well my manager (who KNOWS about games, but bullshits most of the time) told me even if we could sell them he would personally hold off to have everything available at once for the midnight release.

I on the other hand do not want to be banging on Gamestop's door at 2a.m. begging to get a copy of Kameo or DOA or whatever I end up purchasing. I'm planning on getting 3 games, PDZ is the only one set in stone until it is delayed like Oblivion.

You can always grab the overpriced ($45) wired "X360 controller for Windows" at Best buy so you can play Madden with your buddies at your party.
 
They should be allowed to sell the games/accessories as soon as they hit the stores and leave the actual system sale until launch day. It'd be way better for me at least.

Still, even though I have a bunch of games reserved at EB (reserved online, no money down and instore pickup so no shipping charges w00t!)* I may check out my local Game Express before launch. It's first come first serve there and they'll be getting their stuff on Tuesday. The actual system sale is still the 22nd, but I should be able to get games etc if they come in early.... hopefully.

They better let us buy some games early. Why have a contest where the main goal is if you win, you hold a "be first to play" party (it actually comes with invitations) with only 1 controller?

Same here as I called for the first time. My Gamestop however is run by a steroid junkie who treatened to kick my ass if I didnt leave his store. I came in looking for Forza, and he kept telling me about Midnight Club 3. I said I didn't like that game sarcasticly because it made me feel gay playing it, and he just went off on how cool it was to trick out your car.
 
Since the early game sales are confirmed I hope they sell the accessories early too. I'll be picking up Kameo tomorrow then:

11/15- PGR3 + 2 Play and Charge Kits + 1 Extra Wireless Controller

11/16- Condemned

11/17- PDZ

11/19- DOA4

Then later on the 19th the system should arrive with NFS:MW.

Huh, so the cases are translucent green this time. I'd still rather they be white, but oh well. I can always switch them out later.

Like any other game shipment, the further east you are, the later you can expect it.

West coast = same day (usually).
East coast = day after.

I'm naive, I was just asking cause I thought it was the LE version. Anyway, I need to speak to EB and see if they'll let me switch my pre-order from PGR to PD0. In the end I simply have more fun online with FPS.

Sorry for not making it clear, but this isn't my copy. Apparently it was just the game available at this location though.

The controllers (wireless) don't ship until the 14th.

Kameo's the only thing out now...
 
Well the cool thing is that when Kameo comes in I'm going to purchase it A.S.A.P. and get far into it or beat it and then not have as much on my plate to play PDZ online. As far as the other stuff I want to use up my remaining gamebucks.
