Sengoku Basara - Seiyuu fangasm loving ("DEVIL KINGS" LOCALIZATION RAPE)

There is suprisingly scant information on Nobunaga in English. The best resource is Mary Elizabeth Berry's biography of Hideyoshi, but even that glances over the meat of Nobunaga's life. If I was not applying with a game company right now, I'd be doing preliminary research for grad school and a Ph.D. in Japanese History (speciality on Nobunaga :)).
Are you familiar with Taiko by Eiji Yoshikawa? It's also mostly about Hideyoshi, but Nobunaga enters into things and I was thinking of picking it up for insight on him and the period. There's also Japonius Tyranus, but it seems like it might be a bit too much of an academic approach for my interest.

For now I'll stick with Kessen III, though. :)

I'm guessing the PAL release will be based on the US version, although I'm holding out some hope that Capcom will figure that Europe can handle real history, seeing as how we've actually got some of our own, but I'm not confidant. I guess if the gameplay's good though...

Got to say I'm loving the artwork. Same guy who did Shinobi PS2? Lets hope he gets lots more commissions.

I love Taiko, but it is historical fiction. I haven't bought Japonius Tyranus, partly because of availability, partly because of price, but I am familiar with Lamers. I think I read one of his papers on letter writing.
