Are you familiar with Taiko by Eiji Yoshikawa? It's also mostly about Hideyoshi, but Nobunaga enters into things and I was thinking of picking it up for insight on him and the period. There's also Japonius Tyranus, but it seems like it might be a bit too much of an academic approach for my interest.tetsuoxb said:There is suprisingly scant information on Nobunaga in English. The best resource is Mary Elizabeth Berry's biography of Hideyoshi, but even that glances over the meat of Nobunaga's life. If I was not applying with a game company right now, I'd be doing preliminary research for grad school and a Ph.D. in Japanese History (speciality on Nobunaga).
For now I'll stick with Kessen III, though.
