September US Sega Sales (LTD)

AniHawk said:
PDO, Rez, and something else are being re-released this fall like how Skies and House of the Dead were earlier this year. Sales will go up.

Sega seriously couldn't have chosen a worse time to re-release those games. There are long points through the year without any new games, yet they choose to release them up against GTASA, GT4, MGS3 and Halo 2.

Well at least they're sure to do better with a $20 price point (officially, because some are around that and only doing 600 a month).

Well the latest releases on the PS2 and Xbox haven't done very well either (Astro Boy, Headhunter Redemption, and Blood Will Tell). I bet Outrun 2 will actually do well on the Xbox though.
Microsoft's publishing it here.... so it doesn't count. :p

SEGA needs to reclaim handling of the original Crazy Taxi for PS2 now that Acclaim is gone. The market is still there for them to do their own port of the game for PS2, too.

If they'd just port High Roller to PS2, that'd be an easy 300-500k right there. HotD3 would make a lucrative PS2 port also I'd say.

Even I Knew that Astro Boy and Blood Will Tell wouldn't sell. Why did Sega bring those games to the usa? One has to wounder why they would Green light a game like Amazing Island..

I'm still baffled as to why CT3 did so badly. And I have no clue why they haven't ported it, given that the PS2 and GC ports of the first game both did well.

BTW, the list seems to be missing the Xbox version of Samurai Jack.

How is Astro Boy GBA doing? Wasn't that published by SEGA?

I don't handle the GBA games. There are only three of them, and I didn't get their LTDs when I started doing these monthly updates.
