If you're going to put someone new in, maybe give Konnan a shot from Mexico? Risky I know, and set a rule that he can't appear on air (he can't really wrestle anymore- he's more broken down then Roddy Piper). It might work. Konnan booked AAA some the past year or so and they haven't done too bad.

Hogan is down here doing the promotional circuit and confirmed Ric Flair, as well as the Nasty boys, Brutus Beefcake and Jimmy Hart.

Eric Bischoff told Prowrestling.net moments ago that Ric Flair has officially signed on to be part of the Hulkamania tour.

Powell's POV: It's official. Ric Flair is returning to the ring on the November tour of Australia that will feature Hulk Hogan, Ken Anderson, Umaga, Rikishi, and other former WWE stars. The tour will feature Flair's first match since his retirement match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24.

I randomly watched wrestlemania 13 last night. A really solid PPV despite a weak main event. You know what would be a cool idea, have a GAF wrestling watch. A good reason to dust off the anthology set. :D

I said before that Smackdown's blessing was that Vince was so tied up and consumed with Raw that he has pretty much ignored Smackdown and left it in the hands of Michael Hayes and the rest of the booking team and that is where the difference came in and why it was a nice change.
It was only a matter of time before Vince turned his head that way again unfortunately.
May as well set yourself up for Dave vs Undertaker for the belt over and over..

I like this idea. That way it would prompt me to buy the Anthology set. My only problem with it then is that they blur out "WWF" and completely replace Jesse Ventura if I'm right.

Yes the blur is horrible, They even do some audio editing with the music (copyright issues?) and with the fink and others saying wwf. Also alot of quick cuts because of the ads.

I wish i collected the original DVDs through out the years. :(

That's exactly what developer Frima Studios has in store for us with Stratusphere Yoga -- a new workout game for the Wii starring former WWE wrestler Trish Stratus. The game is still extremely early in development, so aside from Trish Stratus being in it, very few actual details have been revealed. They did mention, however, that it'll make use of the Wii Balance Board and "other new and innovative Wii peripheral devices."

Stratusphere Yoga is currently without a publisher, but Frima hopes to finish development and have the game available in the second quarter of 2010.

Watching smackdown now. Just wanted to say that CM Punk cuts damn good promo's. I never saw any of his older stuff, so the "I'm better than you" stuff is new to me, and damn it's awesome.

The whole Teddy Long getting into the Limo segment with the Undertaker was so damn cheesy and ridiculous. The overacting from Teddy was hilarious.

Nice to see sexism and ignorance never dies. There are some good diva wrestlers, and there are some god awful ones too. The WWE finally seems content to push those that can wrestle like Melina, Mickie, Beth, etc.

Oh I agree. But here lately, it seems like, at least on Raw, divas like Beth and Mickie are getting pushed while divas like the Bellas are being left in the vallet role. Stupid to say all female wrestlers should be vallets just because they're women though.

Some joshi are amazing and to be honest quite a few in WWE have potential but generally they don't have the opponents with the skill required to work with. With than being said I was just looking through the TNA roster to see if Brooks really is and was shocked to see that they signed the joshi Ayako Hamada who does this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai8qu89WMmY
 
I would love it if Vince reinvigorated the Women's wrestling division with y'know... women who can wrestle. Am I the only one who can't stand the Divas? What they did to Victoria was criminal... after all the hard work Lita (spot monkey but hey she was good) and Trish Stratus (who could not wrestle for SHIT in the beginning) to even Candace Michelle (see Trish)... they're just wasting the people on the roster who can wrestle. Heck it's part of the reason Trish left. First order would be to stop the bigoted bullshit, goto Mexico and Japan or your own backyard and sign some female wrestlers. Not Playboy Bunnies, Vince. WRESTLERS.

This, I never get why they whine about not being able to get new talent. Its probably cause they NEVER BOTHER LOOKING.
 
The Knockout Division is one of the few things that TNA has miraculously been able to do right amidst all the stupid things that they do. There are alot of talented females in that division in terms of both actual in-ring ability as well as charisma.

There's a reason why the Knockouts are consistently the highest rated segment on Impact every single week.

Unfortunately, we're seeing how the WWE is tending to go to females that have neither of those characteristics and instead focus on looks. Beth Phoenix is fucking awesome, and Mickie James and Gail Kim can bring it, but they need to add more of those types to the division instead of trying to recreate the magic that they had with Trish by hiring models instead.
 
I remember what, 7-10 years ago there were times when the women's match was as hotly anticipated as the men's matches, even more so. Nowadays it's just a piss/food break. The last time there was legit anticipation for a women's match on Raw/PPV was Trish/Crazy Mickie James. That was a brillant use of storyline+attractive women+women who can wrestle.

It's like they forgot the easiest thing that can overcome shitty storylines is putting two people who can wrestle and letting them just go at it ala Benoit and Angle. At least sign guys/women who can carry a match, that's what I'm hoping is happening with the ROH signings but it's just probably more Vince wanting to be a dick.
