Yeah having CM Punk vs Undertaker as the dark match main event was really stupid.

It's not stupid at all. Dark matches are usually practice runs for an upcoming pay per view match with a live audience. If they fuck up, it's ok cause it's not on tv. I don't think Vince would allow an important match on a ppv card go on without the rasslers doing test runs to go over spots.

I would love to see a heel Cena or when Rey returns a heel Rey.

Most of the dirt sheets are saying Cena is turning heel soon. They point out his promo from this past Raw when he did that serious promo about beating Orton.

The real badass and coherent thing would actually be to say taker is just on old wrestler with an used gimmick and that people shouldn't fall for this 80's crappy "magic" ! He almost did that last week or at least he told about his "tricks"

I'm guessing the whole painkillers element is due to him being unable to say pot. As for the magic, it's really hard for him to call taker out on his magic being bullshit when they have it directly effects Punk (when his title was taken from him for example) or when they have fucking stupid segments like the Long kidnapping. It's simply a matter of him needing to have something to cut a promo on if they're going to give him so much mic time.

I wasn't meaning in that way. But a tv viewer who watches CM Punk talk trash about Undertaker and then Undertaker doesn't come out... well I dunno it makes Undertaker or whoever the dark match person is seem like they didn't want to have a match. But whatever I digress.

Good.

Yeah, I guess. That was like 6 months ago. I dunno.
You want one of those "Yeah, Im your best friend until we get out there and after 10 years Ill stab you in the back" heel turns. Those are always good when you dont seem em comin.

I don't even have to watch Smackdown to know it fucking sucked this week. God damn it, I knew that once Batista roided up ass came back to Smackdown it would ruin the synergy of this show. FAK

Sorry if been posted elsewhere but I saw this on another forum and it cracked me up

How shit was Ziggles on commentary this week on SD?

Over the last 7 days, with the combination of that awful segment at Breaking Point, then this week on SD, he's really gone down the shitter. Nobody seems to give a crap about him anymore.

During the Floyd Mayweather vs Juan Manuel Marquez weigh-in yesterday, Michael Buffer brought Triple H to the stage to say a few words. Fan reaction was silent and a few boos could be heard. HHH paused for a moment then said "I have just one question..... Are you ready?" Dead silence from the entire audience. HHH followed it up with a quick hype of Floyd Mayweather saying he believes he'll win tomorrow. His DX-style comment, the silence that followed, and his reaction all together was priceless.

:lol :lol

He seemed even worse on commentary to me because Ryder was so AWESOME on commentary on Superstars. I know nobody watches the show but if they did, I think they'd agree he showed a ton of personality commenting on the Christian/Burchill match.

Agreed, he was the best guest commentator in a loooong time.

1st lie.

2nd lie.

Matter of opinion, and I think Cody Rhodes wrote the piece. Honestly REALLY? The crowd was booing THE SHIT outta Trips. Heel Triple HHH feeds on the boos and harnesses it into the energy he needs to de-push his opposition.

So I went to a house show tonight, and I heard something that blew my mind: A near sellout crowd chanting for Mark Henry.

Have they actually done something right by sticking him with MVP, or am I just crazy?

Crowds have been marking out to Henry for over a month now, even before he was paired with MVP. See "Henry and Chris Jericho", "Mark Swoggle". Also "Kaorin is displeased with RAW"

Methinks we were at the same show!

And yeah, I haven't watched wrestling in probably two/three years (this thread is as close as I get, really), so seeing Henry as a face boggled my mind. The crowd really did love the big man, though.

A couple of pictures (the rest can be found on Flickr) from the night:
