Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that Shawn Michales suffered a possible triceps tear at last night's Raw taping. There is no official word yet concerning his participation in the unsanctioned match against Jericho at Unforgiven, but it appears as if he will be able to wrestle at the PPV.
.

If he can still wrestle with a torn triceps, then the guy's a badass. I could not imagine the amount of pain you'd be in dealing with that.

In other news.... Brock Lesnar is going to be going against Randy Couture on the Nov UFC PPV.
Does Dana want his new "golden child" to get embarrassed THAT bad? Even at 40, Randy is a stud and will school Brock.

Isn't Courture considered past his prime?

Maybe Brock has a 10 percent chance.

Do you take a "past his prime" legend like Couture who's faced tougher opponents than Brock.... and whomped them?

Or do you take the green as grass powerhouse?

dunno, I'd take experience in this case. Couture by submission in the first.

Ah, well I usually consider past their prime in wrestling when the athlete has clearly lost his abilities from way back when, or when he hit his 40s. So I thought Courture was past his prime.

EC-Dub was hot tonight. Great main event with Bourne doing the fuck awesome Shooting Star press.

Super Crazy beats Gavin Spears.

Ricky Ortiz beays Raddock. I can't believe Ortiz is over. The fuck.

That is basically Foley's smiley logo with the hardcore edge to it.......

Mick Foley Confirms Deal With TNA
Date Added: September 03, 2008
Story By: Brian Cantor
MICK FOLEY ANNOUNCED THE FOLLOWING VIA THE GILLESPIE AGENCY:

As of today, I am a free agent in the world of professional wrestling. I will always be grateful to WWE for affording me so many incredible opportunities over the past thirteen years, but feel the time is right to pursue other endeavors.

This move frees me up to participate in more film, television and voice roles, autograph sessions, speaking engagements, volunteer work, and will allow me the time to start work on a third novel, a fourth wrestling memoir and a new children’s story.

Over the next few weeks I will be working with my management team at Braverman/Bloom Co., Inc. in pursuing a couple of unique investment opportunities.

I can confirm I have had discussions with TNA Wrestling and have come to a
short-term agreement. I am very excited about the specifics of this agreement and the potential it holds.

Mick Foley is available for booking through The Gillespie Agency. For
more information contact Elaine Gillespie ( elaine@GillespieTalent.com) or
Nola Armstrong ( nola@GillespieTalent.com).

Flair's going to be available in about 5 weeks as well..........

Flair wants to wrestle BADLY.

Foley, Sting and Flair all in the same ring. DROOOOOL

My guess, look for Foley to be a "guest enforcer" at Bound for Glory or show up at No Surrender

MVP upset management following a recent incident in which he made a derogatory comment to one of the drug testing monitors who watches the WWE performers while they submit urine samples.

Following the implementation of the WWE Wellness policy a few years ago, some wrestlers were submitting fake urine samples to beat the drug tests. One wrestler was eventually caught cheating in WWE developmental wrestler Afa Anoa'i, Jr. As a result, Anoa'i was suspended by WWE for 30 days, on March 20, 2008, as cheating is an obvious violation of the WWE's Wellness policy. Following the incident, WWE instituted a new rule in which the performers have to be bare from their chest down to their knees while giving urine in front of a doctor to make sure they're not cheating. A number of the wrestlers are grouchy to the monitors as you would imagine. However, MVP went too far in what he said to one of them.

MVP asked the monitor if he graduated from college. The monitor said yet. MVP then insulted him, saying something along the lines of, "So you went to school for four years to watch people's (expletive)?"

The monitor promptly complained to WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis as well as Bruce Prichard. Soon after, Laurinaitis indirectly addressed the matter in locker room meeting, instructing talent to be respectful of the testers and to not harass them. People aware of the MVP incident felt it was obvious that the meeting was held due to it.

Since the incident, MVP has been getting the cold shoulder from a few officials. Suddenly, the word backstage is that he doesn't know how to work as a heel to get heat. At last week's SmackDown/ECW tapings in Pittsburgh, Shelton Benjamin - who's been in-and-out of favor with WWE officials for a number of years - was given high praise in that he knows to work as an effective heel. They liked his smiled facials after he laid out MVP with his "Paydirt" finisher and more so later in the show after clocking Triple H with a belt.
:lol :lol :lol

I think that Foley to TNA is the big news for this month so far. I am hoping he ends up as a writer for the show and maybe even a booker.

Imagine someone on TNA's staff who can actually WRITE..............

Gail Kim has personally reached out to Dixie Carter to see if a deal can be struck for her to return to TNA after all. As PWTorch has reported in multiple instances over the past week, friends have said she felt terrible about leaving TNA, but felt she had to because WWE's offer was at least triple what TNA's supposed final offer was.

Kim did reportedly meet with WWE officials, but has been hestitant to sign a deal with WWE due to her happiness with working for TNA - other than the lowball offer she was given.

From what we understand, neither Kim nor Dixie Carter were happy with the way TNA reps and Kim's reps (lawyers and/or agent) handled the negotiations, and both have decided to at least see if a return could be worked out.

Carter has asked some tough questions to people within TNA lately whom she trusted to handle this part of the business well; there are indications she felt out of the loop and wanted to try to make the situation right.

Keller's Analysis: It's good that TNA may be able to make this situation right. Kim badly wanted to stay with TNA and, as we reported, had to be talked into the only dignified move - walking away from TNA's insultingly lowball offer considering the hard numbers of what she's drawn in her matches on Impact (usually the ighest rated of each show she's on) and her popularity behind the scenes and the respect her colleagues have for her. I've also heard there was a backlash among several TNA wrestlers - women and men - that TNA didn't pay her due respect with a fair-minded renewal offer.

Is anyone else excited for the Championship Scrambles?
Outside of the lazy booking by doing it for all 3 brands, I am genuinely excited for it.

When you think about it, it's a great concept.

I guess they WILL do this kind of epic situation where, let's say, The Brian kendrick just pin someone from nowhere at the last minute, and he's world champ until Trip pin him at last second. it can work with Jeff hardy also abviously, but not for the same reason.

The way the scamble works is just genious if done right.

I think all 3 champions of the Scramble match retain.

Its too soon to get the belt off of Henry. He is a good champion and deserves the belt longer. It will be more meaningful when you have the baby face take him down.

HHH has all the momentum in the world. I want Most Valuable Player to win this but I don't think he will. I would not complain if any of the other participants win.

I hope Punk wins. A feud against Jericho or Orton would be fantastic.

MICK FOLEY HAS SIGNED A SIX MONTH DEAL WITH TOTAL NON STOP ACTION WRASSLIN

I would be excited except that twenty minutes isn't nearly enough time for them to be great.
Hoping for the best.

Could someone PM the program used to light lamps? I'm more interested in it to watch out of market sports while I'm on the road.

Finlay scores pinfall with 4 minutes left.
Matt Hardy scores pinfall with 3 minutes left.

Your Winner..... and NEWWWWWWWWW ECW CHAMPION!!!!
MATT HARDY!
