It's a spiffy movie. It's not brilliant and it's definitely flawed, but it's very atmospheric and well-shot. I'm a recovering urban exploration buff, so I kind of liked seeing the inside of an old mental hospital. That white-washed some of the film's weak points for me, such as the derivative plot, spotty acting, and lack of good scares. Also, the movie builds up to a pretty disappointing climax.

I own it. It's cool.

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
Session 9 is one of my favorite horror movies ever. I am here to inform you that your opinion is incorrect. Move along now.

I saw it on a movie network quite a while ago. Luckily I didn't read the GA hype beforehand (I think I might have watched it before the hype began). I thought it was a half-decent thriller, but I wasn't blown away. Definitely don't think it lives up to the hype, but it wasn't so bad.

Taking the status quo into account, any halfway competent horror film is likely to be on the receiving end of the hype, and Session 9 is just about halfway competent. I looooooove that setting.

I still have to finish Silent Hill 3. Damn my PS2 being so far, of so far away. Well, I guess I could play Silent Hill 2 when my Xbox gets here this week.
