Yea, it's the third game in the SH world but it's most likely not being called SH3 because of the story.

Yeah, who the hell are these people? I've only started to read the character descriptions, but my reading speed is slowed just a tad by the searching my kanji dictionaries.

Ricardo looks awesome... I can't wait for this game, love the setting, and the SH games always have awesome characters. The graphics also show a big improvement over 1 and 2. Hopefully Midway will pick this up and show it at E3. Did SH:C even do that well in America?
 
Wow.. the final wave of RPGs this generation are starting to be shown.
I'm set well through 2006 :D
 
THREE NEW CHARACTERS REVEALED IN FAMITSU!

Hilda - A Magical-girl lookalike. She's actually a 400 year old vampire and is a self-styled heroine. She uses magical sticks as weapons, her appearance changes depending on her calorie intake. :lol

Mao - A giant of a man, He speaks with experience, having lived for many years. He uses a scalpel as a weapon and fights in drunken fist style.

Frank - A fake ninja. He uses ninja swords.... or rather a huge saw as a weapon. Speaks strange english and is a high-tension self-styled ninja.

Sounds just as WEIRD and AWESOME as SH2! Can't wait! :D

Just got the scoop from Bebpo (the fucking man!), Mao is NOT a giant of a man.... he's a giant CAT! :lol

He also says that Johnny's lightsaber is indeed as suspected, a Malice Blade and that he has a snap and cellphone ring that summons Rene to aid him (so I guess Rene isn't a playable character). The potential villains look..... "interesting" to say the least. :D

Damn ! Couldn't get the magazine yesterday, not until Saturday. The man said the shippment schedule is off this week, bought an old issue of Famitsu PS2 instead, heh !

Rene (the Iron Claw leader) is in SH3 as Johnny's bodyguard and personal assistant. Hilda is another Valentine sibling. And the pic I posted above suggests that Uru might have turned evil and is willing to destroy the world to get Alice back. I haven't finished SH2, so if it doesn't sound possible, don't spoil while explaining why. :D

Wow that sounds cool as f*ck... I REALLY need to get back in to playing SH2... does anybody know how SH2 did for Midway here in the US?

I don't think Shadow Hearts 2 did over 80K sales, although I'd love to be proven wrong -- it was of the few legitimately fun RPGs released last year. I hope that's enough to get a localization of this game greenlighted, since it looks just as crazy and gorgeous as SH2.
 
:lol @ Hilde. Her ingame model isn't that great though if you ask me, looks like a trashy gothic vampire slut in game but like a cute, fangy girl in her art. She sort of reminds me of Marivel/Maribel from Wild Arms 2 but a lot less cute and funny and more slut =P.
 
Looking great. I was one of those openly hoping SH3 would move focus to N. America, move on and let the emphasis on Yuri/Alice rest, have something related to the Valentine sister, and hopefully make some kind of connection to Koudelka and Halley and what happened to them (which being in the U.S. must be addressed, I would hope).

3 out of 4 so far.

As of last month, I did a count on NPD with jiji and we came up with a total of about 60k in the US. Not too hot at all. :(
